So as usual septic have had the ref as a 12th man. The decisions against St Mirren have been shocking tonight. McGregor and Brown put two terrible tackles in - somehow no booking. Obika puts a miss-timed tackle in - booking.

The penalty is one that only Celtic could get, Andy Walker didn't even say it was a dive 😆

Bang on.

No denying Celtic are the better team 2nd half,  but totally helped by yet another inept ref.

What was that thing Celtic fans used to say about a conspiracy?

Yeah only delusional Celtic fans can seriously think the refs are against them, some of the the decisions that go in their favour are baffling. So they've now had 2 ridiculous penalties in 3-weeks that only Celtic or rangers would receive.

We've not threatened at all tonight so Celtic are deserved winners. The penalty ended the game as a contest and it's a terrible decision. Robertson has got 2 or 3 fairly big decisions wrong tonight and they all favoured Celtic.

That said, we looked tired and leggy. Too many slack passes, didn't get Connolly involved anywhere near enough.

No comment on the penalty tho?

I thought Edouard stock it away well giving the keeper no chance.

Just delighted with the win. More to do with  St Mirren being off the boil than us being that good I think.

Dont you understand that this is PART of the conspiracy?

Celtic get the decisions in games theyre already leading in so people can claim it evens itself out. But when it comes to the BIG games, everything goes against Celtic and/or for Rangers*.

...Or something like that.

FT 0-4
We weren’t at it second half at all but we were heading into the last 10 minutes at 0-1 with a chance to nick something.
Then a ridiculous penalty decision - and a booking which you’ve got to laugh at considering the yellows he didn’t give first half - ends the game. Head’s gone a bit for five minutes after that which isn’t like us.
Could tell the two games a week schedule was having an effect on the squad second half. If McGrath joins Brophy, Dennis and Quaner on the treatment table we will be a bit stretched. Wouldn’t be surprised if Erwin starts at Pittodrie.

Plenty that don’t go in our favour either but I don’t expect you watch every Celtic game to know that.

Such is life.

Better performance from us, St Mirren looked really tired and just didn’t match us man for man the way they did at Celtic Park

Regardless of the cretin referee, it’s been a poor second half performance and a lot of our first choice players look really tired which is worrying. Jim definitely needs to freshen things up on Saturday.

Erhahon played very well though and Obika was much better second half even with zero support. I thought Flynn had a few good bits of play and don’t understand why he went off instead of Doyle-Hayes who was miles off it.

Yeah, looked really tired tonight, but we were in it until Robertson decided to finish us off. No real excuse for downing tools a big after that, but we were never coming back. We were absolutely playing 12 men today though, and it wasn't just the big decisions
