Aye, it's quite fascinating. You wonder how bad the messages can really be.

I think that because Bojo is happy for them to be shared and the government doesn't, suggests that whatever is in it will be more damaging to others more than BoJo himself.

In a way, I don't think we should be privy to all the inner workings of government, but given this is to investigate the handling of an emergency, it is only right and fair that all the elements are known. Arguably, if the inquiry knows the full extent of how stressful and chaotic things were, it might actually play into BoJos advantage.

What it all says is that none of the charlatans should be anywhere near government.

What would actually harm them at this point? Being revealed to have used a global pandemic as cover to ransack the public coffers was fine, apparently.

Genuinely a bit stumped at this point. They could have admitted that they personally released COVID-19 and I'm not convinced they'd suffer any consequences for it.

Johnson, Sunak, Braverman threesome.  Please let it be.

Mods, please. That's worse than the sex pram.

Tory revelation #2,948.

It seems that a few hours after Bojo claimed that he had handed ove his information, and encouraged Downing Street to do the same, it transpires that he perhaps 😂 may not have been strictly accurate.

I heard about this story on LBC so googled it. Here's the intro to The Times coverage... "However, Johnson did not hand over the phone he used before April 2021, a period covering the three national lockdowns as well as all the gatherings investigated in the Sue Gray inquiry. Johnson was forced to stop using the phone in April 2021 after it emerged that his number had been available online for 15 years."

I understand that he has now said he'll hand it over... Given that Bojo operates from second to second in terms of what he does based on what he sees as his best interests, Downing Street must be raging. Unless of course he's going to redact embarrassing content.

My take on Johnson handing over the WhatsApp details is that he knows he's finished but that he wants to take a few other Tories (especially Sunak) down with him.

A snake to the end!

If ever a photo sums up Tory smugness and self-entitlement it is surely this.

"...taken at the Conservative party's headquarters in Westminster, dates from when London was in Tier 2 restrictions during the pandemic.

This meant people were banned from socialising indoors, except with members of their household or a support bubble.

People in London who did want to socialise at that stage of the pandemic had to do so in a garden or at a pub with outdoor seating - but such gatherings were limited to groups of six people.

Police investigated the event last year and no fines were issued.

One of these twats was asked about the new video and said something like "this is old news, it was investigated last year".

Sooner these wanks are pushed out the better.

They put me in mind of the arse cheeks fans to use a Scoddish Football context. Must..... not..... ever criticise own team.

Total proof that they believe in f**k all. If you were a member of a movement that you truly believed in, doing work you believed in, and you were shown that photo, any person with even a scrap of decency would be saying "yes these people disgraced us, I unreservedly condemn them and will seek to hound them out myself".

But then, that would require finding a Tory who wasn't flouting any and all rules.
