I'd still say someone who has their own business has more flexibility than a worker that's given their holidays.

Depends on the business and the employer, a farmer might have little choice for instance.

Charities will work with virtually anyone. We had multiple murderers volunteering with us on day release, including a lassie who'd killed several men in Glasgow (wid, obviously).

It wasn’t Scarlett Johansson by chance, was it?

I see they are having a normal one about a guy not singing a song before a football match

We used to laugh at overly patriotic flag-waving, star spaaaangled bahhhhhnur singing yanks.

It's pretty depressing stuff to see it on the rise over here.

The all day breakfast is pretty decent in fairness

Theyve upgraded, the new stuff actually goes in a fridge now. Most people prefer the cereal bars and pot noodles.

Lee Carsley isn't going to sing GSTK before England matches.

Don't see why he should, tbf.

The BBC providing a helpful guide to other traitors through the years, while dog-whistling Carsley's Irish connections despite him saying that he never sang the Irish anthem before games either.

Ireland's anthem is miles better TBF, and England should adopt something similar IMO.

It is a very strange 'national' anthem, given that there is no mention of England, or indeed the UK.  The song is about loyalty to an institution rather than to a nation.  Given the limited enthusiasm for the monarchy amongst younger people even in England, it's a bit of a stretch to think that the entire England team support the monarchy.  More likely that a lot of them feel that they need to be seen to be singing the dirge to avoid grief.

The Dutch anthem is weirder. It's about granting their loyalty to Gerry Britton
