Terrible result, on a day I don’t think we played terribly, but just couldn’t find that clinical touch to finish our chances. Motherwell started really well and were worthy of their lead. Half time then came at a bad time as we’d just started to turn the screw. Carried on into the second half up til the penalty (VAR again shows how bad it is for a match-going fan with how long that took). Then we just witnessed kamikaze defending. We had plenty of time so I don’t know why we kept pushing so high and letting Bair get Goldson isolated. He got the better of him time and time again and got Motherwell up the park. We just needed to settle a little bit and drop off at times. Second ‘Well goal is a wonder cross and it just seemed to kill our momentum. Had a couple of chances late on with balls blocked and swiped out of danger but not enough. We looked leggy as the game progressed, and with another injury we now seem to be losing the depth that we need at the wrong time of the season. A little perspective needed with it being our first dropped points in, what, 10 games? And still top for the time being but that could be a massively damaging result. Butland should be doing better, much better for the 2nd. If that’s Joe Hart he gets destroyed for that.

The fact we are 2 ahead after being 7 or 8 behind proves that (albeit having played a game more). It's all if and what abouts I suppose but this 8 point turn around is more related to an horrific collapse in form by Celtic than Rangers suddenly being an "improved" team. Given the chance at New Year to put their name on things at Parkheid, they blew it.

I think he’s not covered himself in glory for either tbh, but the defence are more at fault for allowing themselves to be twisted in knots.

I’m sure before today Clement’s points per game ratio was something like 2.7 in the league? I could be mistaken, but if so, that is outstanding form. However, if it takes five minutes to find it's clearly not an obvious error. The angle down from Butland's goal was clear that O'Donnell slid in and didn't get the ball. It was rash especially with Casey coming over. i thought it was a stonewaller tbh. Surprised it took VAR that long to give it.
Swello
The fact that it's *this* Motherwell team, who have been driving us mental all season that finally did it is (a) bizarre and (b) a testament to the fact that Kettlewell doesn't send them out with the inferiority complex that some of our previous managers, blessed with far better teams undoubtedly did. We came from behind to get a point at Parkhead a couple of times too, so it doesn't feel like a fluke.

Empty It
Just think of all those glory seeking bigots that travelled from their hovels all over Scotland to watch their team get pumped.

Casey gets it down at his feet. Not much Butland can do. He can't sell himself because Casey could have put it in anywhere. Casey running free at the back post is probably the bigger issue but it is hard to keep track when Rangers are trying to push out from the corner and defend the second ball.

Allroy for Prez
Well, well, well. 26 years since we last won at ibrox in the league and it’s this team all teams that finally end the drought, it’s going to take some explaining!

This is honestly flabbergasting. It’s certainly not a point of view that can be consistent with anyone that has watched Rangers consistently this season under both Beale and Clement.

How many players can you give a bye to? You do with Tav all the time due to the fact he can bang in a pen or a free kick but defensively is a liberty? Case in point that second goal, they both fucked it

He gets criticism when warranted, I just believe what he brings to the team is something we will massively miss when it’s gone. His good outweighs the bad, but that’s not to overlook the bad.
