Good call from the ref, but not convinced McBeth is a footballer. Where did they find him? Glasgow Warriors?

From Ayrshire juniors. I think they found him down the pits. A carthorse.

Not sure you could hack together a competent keeper Frankenstein style from the three we have. Was an absolute stick on they would score from either a set piece or a keeping error. Or both.

Think the ref was right not to send off McBeth but I'd probably still sub him as he's only one semi bad tackle away from going off.

Connolly isn't the same player

Connolly has always been this player when he's isolated out wide in a system like this. Last season we overlapped him with the fullback and made runs inside of him to give him space to cut in and shoot, this season, we're far too stretched and no deep runners to help him. He cuts inside and has no one occupying his defender to make some space.

He's never been quick or able to take a man on and beat them convincingly.

Once again a terrible shout from you.

This is where we miss Ross Millen. He's a bigger threat going forward tan Brown is and Connolly and Millen developed an understanding. Brown and Connolly don't have that. Brown is the better defender though.
