All this talk about dog shite up trees, I remember one day on the down to the shops on lunchtime from school we saw what seemed to be the remains of a dead Alsatian in a bin bag hanging from a tree. I do apologise for the slightly tenuous link.

In Motherwell, not far from Airbles train station once lived a dog shite bin that had clearly been booted over so many times that the powers that be decided to remove it. Instead of finding an alternative site for the disposal of their dug's defecation the good people of Motherwell decided to build a massive dog shite hill on the vacated site of the aforementioned chod bin. Absolutely fucking disgusting.

I'm happy to report the council have removed said dung heap and stuck a new bin in.

Is there some kind of posh private school there? Seem to see a lot of snooty kids in blazers get off there.

It's St Ninians, Scotland's top non-private school. The pupils are still annoying c***s though.
Most of the posh private school weans get off/on at Crossmyloof, that's the stop for Hutchie.

Very in my experience, cleaned carpets I thought we were going to have to bin. You might still need a bit of elbow grease for really stained bits, but it removes most stuff. Remember to buy the cleaning fluid as well. How much did he quote? It's less than £30 including chemicals, dead easy to use. You order the machine online and pick it up at the supermarket where you buy the chemicals separately. The basic cleaning liquid should do, they try and sell you specialist stuff that I don't think does much. Get a decent size bottle though and consider hiring it for 2 days for another fiver in case you decide to give it another go when it dries out.

That's the rug doctor booked for tonight. Thanks Welshy

Comic book films. Generally don't really care about things that don't interest me, but at work all anyone talks about seems to be Star Wars or Comic book films. I'm not a Star Wars obsessive but I liked the films so can at least tolerate the discussions, comic book films though I just don't get. This weird rivalry between fans of one group and fans of the other. Like the Batman films were good, but apart from that they are just pretty dull and/or stupid. I don't remember anyone caring about comic book films when I was growing up, seems like a recent thing.

What sort of workplace talks about Star Wars and comic book films?

Mine. We mainly talk about work. It's the first time where I've been somewhere where most of my team is quite young (mid-late 20s largely) and instead of the usual work conversations about football etc, they mainly talk about quite geeky things. Some of it is fine, I occasionally play video games and like Lord of the Rings, but the comic book and Pokemon chat kills me.

Dog owners who think it's acceptable to pick up their dog poo in a bag and then throw the poo bag into a bush.

Poor behaviour. At least they pick it up. Dog shite all over the paths in my area. One of my local councillors was saying on Facebook the other day that the vast majority of complaints he gets is about dog shite.

Pokemon?! Do grown men really talk about that?
