When you’re paying £40 for steak pie, you don’t want shown to your seat by an ignorant little c**t. Was this before or after Bairnardo was employed in the oil and gas industry?
UsedToGoToCentralPark
This pair of c***s have got a book out I see. Rust realised 20 years ago or so I'd be watching the Hollyoaks Omnibus and Popworld. Marriage and 3 kids later it's Sunday Brunch. I suspect this is true for quite a few people on here. I also own this book.

microdave
Made a cup of tea to go with my lunch today and when I got the milk out of the fridge, it was off. On the plus side, it means I won't be bursting when I'm halfway to the fitba later.

Also note : How to prevent a hangover Eating a meal before drinking alcohol can reduce the effects of a hangover. While there are no scientifically proven hangover cures, people can effectively prevent a hangover from happening in the first place. Several factors may help to reduce the severity of a hangover, such as: Drinking in moderation. The one sure way to avoid a hangover is by not drinking alcohol. People can usually guarantee a milder hangover if they drink less alcohol the night before. Avoiding congeners. Some alcoholic drinks produce worse hangovers than others. Drinks with high congener content are more likely to cause a hangover, including whiskey, cognac, and tequila. Vodka, rum, and gin are low-congener drinks. Getting enough sleep. Alcohol can affect the quality of a person's sleep, so sleeping more may help reduce a hangover. Staying hydrated. Drinking water while drinking alcohol can help counteract the diuretic effects of alcohol to reduce dehydration, which can contribute to headaches and other hangover symptoms. Eating food before drinking. Food can reduce the amount of time it takes for alcohol to enter into the bloodstream, keeping the blood alcohol levels lower. This could reduce the effects of a hangover. The amount of alcohol that causes a hangover will vary from person to person. As a result, determining how much alcohol causes a hangover will involve some trial and error. It can help to be aware of alcohol guidelines set by the government.

throbber
I don’t get hangovers, I certainly feel less than 50% a lot of the time but I don’t lie about the house for a full day unable to do anything because I’ve drank too much the night before. There’s no excuse for it unless you are about 18.

tamthebam
Take the Tam tip- stop drinking and leave the pub when you feel you've had enough. Usually about the time it's my round...
throbber
Are you talking absolute mess that can't get out of bed, can't eat and most likely calls in work sick on Monday too? Well yeah that is pathetic also but just so you’re at the point of lying about the house unable to do anything and feeling that you need a lazy day to recover from it all. I’m obviously talking about the mrs who was out until about 1 last night after going out for tapas with work, all plans for today cancelled and I have to look after the wee one all by myself. I’m not doing any nagging myself but I can imagine there being a different reaction if it was me who was out drinking and dumping responsibilities on her!
Stellaboz
If it's not affecting anyone else's plans it's sometimes brilliant to have a reset day or two. No eating until like 7pm when Dominos or Chinese get a call. And crack open any beer left in the fridge!

Crroma
People who have children shouldn't be allowed to go out drinking. Like i know this couple who do weekend turnabout of who looks after the child and who gets out to the clubs till 3am. What in the actual Christ. Every single weekend, how much resentment must be there when both parties clearly must think "i wish this was my weekend to go get smashed". Strange way to live.
