The New Raith Rovers Thread

The fans can't continue to bail out poor planning by boards season after season. We were in the championship when there was a golden opportunity to pay off debt or stick a bit aside but we don't seem to have done either. The clubs been run horrendously the past few years

We cant cope with a postponed game financially so the chance of installing a plastc pitch is no more than pie in the sky( thankfully) ;)

I was thinking this. When we inevitably blunder our way into the playoffs, then it'll mean there's less time to get the plastic pitch put in so it likely won't happen based off what they've said so far.

Fife council are dragging their heels with the planning permission so highly unlikely it will be in place for next season.

The application was approved today. However, I'm sure I read somewhere that we had ditched the idea because of the costs involved.

Re the season tickets, is it just a typo that the cup games aren’t on the season ticket?

They were on the season ticket last season.

The club lost money on diddy cup matches against Brora and Ross County u20’s. It was a foolish decision to include them.

Maybe, but it was a better deal for fans.

I really hope we can buck the trend and get promoted via the play-offs.

People can’t seem to get their head around the fact that the funds aren’t all in one big pot.

The budget of improving Stark’s Park is completely separate to the running of the club.

The plastic pitch will be going ahead regardless of whether we stay in this league or not.
