The New Raith Rovers Thread

Very unfortunate as we could really do with players like Ashcroft in the side against Morton.

Great to get the win today. It doesn't matter how it came about - we just need to start the ball rolling on a run of good results to get belief and confidence back.

Impressed with Rudden today. Scored, assisted and worked his socks off. Wasn’t excited by his signing but he’s defo a good player at this level. Turgid watch in the second half but absolutely take that away from home.
Away atmosphere fantastic as per.

Oh dear, that’s terrible news.

I don’t know, you Pars lads sign a couple of referees and you’re all over our thread.

Na in fairness I expected a few more Pars fans after Ashcroft pulled up 😂. I’m sure we’d do the same. Decent results for you lot the day after yesterdays outcome (you’ve got to take the luck when it comes).

A kick in the teeth for season ticket holders.

Not really, we always know this sort of thing happens occasionally, hopefully will bring through a few more Morton fans to make a decent atmosphere at the game

I've not had value for my season ticket this season. No fault of the club obviously, just sheer bad luck that games outside of a 3 o'clock on a Saturday have mostly landed on my backshift weeks.

I'll just pay as I go next season.

You’ve got to do what suits yourself pal, paying for a season ticket is an expense that’s hard to justify if you can’t make all the games.  Plenty other bills about these days sadly.

I’d imagine if you polled the all season ticket holders, most of them won’t be bothered. That’s a really great gesture from the club.

True and I can understand why they’re doing it even if it slightly devalues the season ticket.  The board are obviously wanting as big a crowd as they can get for Morton given the current circumstances.
In defence of the board I’d also say they offered free travel to Dundee Utd and I wouldn’t be stunned if they do it again  if we’re still neck and neck with Dundee Utd next fixture.
