CALDERON
He was genuinely OK for most of his time in goal for us, but his bottle went in the last quarter, particularly in the title decider with Dunfermline. For that reason he'll always be a useless cunt. Probably right enough. Didnt help that he went in place of fans favourite Mcgurn, some fans were never going to take to him. Hey ho, good luck to the lad.
Dazzle
Yeah read that in the courier...good luck with that..you will be shitting yourselves every time one of your players hits a back pass... Maybe not if any of them play it to his right foot. He was decent enough for the most part, was never going to be as good as McGurn.
Wardy
Haha..he just picked it up instead of kicking it away.. Nah McNeil was steady when he was in goal but only McGlynn knows why he stuck by him...
Enigma
Could be an average keeper at this level. He has a complete lack of confidence, can't kick to save himself with his weeker foot and is a pretty poor decision maker. Not a 'safe pair of hands'.
Ebanda's Handyman Services
I always thought with McNeil that if he did something confidence inspiring early on in the game, he'd go on to have a good game. If he fucked something up early on (A harmless high ball straight over his head and nearly in to the net against the Pars for example) he'd tend to follow it up with more mistakes. He's shown that he's more than capable at this level but his mistakes are often extremely costly.
Michael W
Pretty much sums it up. Good shot stopper (yes, that old chestnut) but his confidence and subsequently his performance go to shit after what may only be a small mistake. He was probably better at dealing with crosses than McGurn, though.

HoBNob
It's now been confirmed on our official site, he's signed as Tony Bullock's been injured. What's he like? He's a keeper form Hibs, not much more needs to be said.

HoBNob
Hows life in the Ivory Towers treating you guys, bored yet? Not going to lie, no idea what that means. If you mean the spl then yes, it is fucking dreadful, withdrawal symptoms from the lack of derbys though...

Dunfermline1885
Pars only had 5000 or so for their first game . Chase better than the catch ? For just about everything except the finance I'd say.

CanuckSFAfan
Fair enough but first game back in the SPL , thought the excitement might warrant a bigger crowd . Weekend game will be better judge

Yeah fuckin typical, bet it does not stop them bleating at the end of the season about "playing too many games" FTOF
Hank Scorpio
Heard a wee rumour the other day that we were supposed to get Gordon Smith in on loan, but Hearts pulled the deal at the last minute claiming that he was now ready for the first team after his spell at Stirling and didn't need any further loan spells to further his development. I'm quite sure the next player we get will be from Hearts.
Michael W
Hmm, was he the striker who had scored in the SPL that we were meant to be getting?
Mij
first post so go easy but according to the press the deal for the loan player has been agreed verbally with the spl club and they are keen to give the player to us but they have had to keep using him until they get one or two of players back from injury . That suggests hes actually playing or at the very least on the subs bench for his club at the moment .
