P.C
Seems Cardle is getting a 2 match ban http://www.thecourier.co.uk/sport/football/championship/raith-rovers-winger-joe-cardle-handed-two-match-ban-1.167281
mojito
Feel sorry for him. Seeing the footage on raithroversabroad.net it was clear he simply lost his footing. He did have his foot up but to me for that kind of challenge to be considered dangerous it has to be chest height or above. Cardle certainly doesn't strike me as a player with a violent streak. Even more Disappointing when you see players put in heavy challenge after heavy challenge and never get pulled up for it.
Yoss
Not violent as such, but he hasn't been immune to the odd fit of temper has he? Even if he's grown up a bit from the days when he was twatting his teammates. I haven't seen the footage, but at the time it looked to me like he had an attack of red mist after being floored during a spot of pushing a few seconds earlier.
mojito
Had he got previous! You never imagine wee tricky wingers having that element to their game. Still reckon it was never intentional.

BIGQ FAE KDY
I mind raith playing st.johnstone at starks park years ago and a dog ran on the pitch all the raith fans started singing " 1 JOHN PELOSI " to it Edited December 20, 2013 by BIGQ FAE KDY

Broken Algorithms
Iain Williamson training with us... Nothing wrong with that given the Icelandic season is over. I'd imagine he'll be looking to keep fit until that restarts. Seemed to do relatively well over there given he made it to the top flight.
mojito
Saw a tweet earlier with him travelling with some of the team. Is it just a case of keeping fit. Is he still under contract with the Icelandic team? Could be a handy trialist over the busy festive period. Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Iain Williamson training with us... His last goal for us was a peach, the fifth in a demolition of that shite outfit that is Morton.

With Cardle and Anderson out for now I'd be quite happy using Williamson as a trialist for a few games.
Raithie
He did score a stotter to put us 1-0 up at home to Aberdeen in the cup mind you.
renton
Was that the sclaffed shot into the bottom corner? Wasnt a sclaff at all, for whatever williamsons faults: not strong enough to play up top, not fast enough to play out wide... he was actually a very good finisher, probably the most finessed finisher in tbe squad at the time.

As renton said, wasn't a sclaff, a nice finish if you will from a move down the right wing. BTW did I mention we fucked over Morton that day?
Paco
99% sure we can no longer play players as trialists? SPFL rules. Williamson was garbage. No thank you.

RRFC2711
He totally turned the game in the 2-2 win at east end I think he was never played constantly up front , with our attacking wing play I think he would be an asset.
Yoss
Didn't Rangers use trialists at the start of the season before their transfer ban expired?
Yoss
"garbage" is harsh, but I wouldn't imagine he's doing anything more than just training with us anyhow.
