“I’ve seen us win a few FA Cups” hope Arsenal go bust now tbh

He's not atypical, TBH. I remember when they twatted us in the cup final and thousands of them were streaming out at the end, couldn't be arsed to stay and see their team lift the FA Cup. There is no fanbase less deserving of success than Arsenal's.

I think you're forgetting a certain Piers Morgan

I am the same. I always had @johnnydun and @Melanius Mullarkay as being in their 60s at least.

He's younger than me, FFS.

“A wise head on young shoulders”.

And young shoulders on the body of a 65 year old.

Spoiler

I’m older than Johnny by around 9.5 years.

Ha! Yes, I try to convince others that I was old enough to see Dundee win the league but that prize goes to the magnificent @Eednud.

I always see you as ages with myself, along with a few others on here such as @Shandon Par, @Mark Connolly, @Bairnardo, @Chris Partlow, @Miguel Sanchez, @The Naitch @bennett, @gannonball.

Then in the 'slightly' older bracket (45-55) we have the likes of @Melanius Mullarkay, @pozbaird@scottsdad, @Bigmouth Strikes Again, @Raidernation, @KnightswoodBear.

About 10 years younger (30-35) we have @Derry Alli (always see him as a younger version of myself), @DA Baracus, @RandomGuy., @Leith Green, @Hoose Rice, @Venti.

I know I'm probably waaay off, but this is the age brackets I have you in.

I'll take it!

I'll be 40 in December

I nearly spat my coffee out at that. 😂

Strange how in our heads we think we “know” how old complete strangers are on this platform.
For some reason I had you down as an older guy.
I don’t view any other social media - I get all the relevant news and updates about the world from this site.

Fcuk the MSM - all you need is Pie and Bovril.

So many good threads on here like you said. Despite the interclub rivalry (and the idea that all St Mirren fans are mentalists) we can seek help and understanding from some good people on the forum when required.

You hit the nail on the head with the Depression thread.

I still miss some of the responses to the binned posters especially Dickson and Oaksoft as they really were Champions League nutters (disguised as St Mirren fans obviously).

I’ve been introduced to new music, books and movies as a direct result of recommendations on here.

Long may this forum continue.

Yup. inuad him pegged at upper 50's too 🙈

This was the US number one when I was born and possibly explains quite a lot.

I've just read the whole post and @Miguel Sanchez I see as an approaching 30 year old who yells at clouds. I enjoy his dead pan humour

@DA Baracus is the biy. Seeing he's about to turn 40 is an eye opener. Always been one of the sound cűnts on here. Still a cûnt, but a sound ane.

My biggest surprise on the post is people see @Chris Partlow as that age. I always thought he was mid twenties. Again, thoroughly enjoyable poster.

I made cheesy pasta for tea tonight which I believe even @Venti would be proud of.

Edit : I was complaining of my sleep pattern being ruined and after day 1 (a fucking hard days graft at that) I was practically unable to speak and flaked out at 8pm. This is me awake again. Hello darkness my old friend.

I would like to gather opinion on this issue and see no greater way to do so than via the good people of P&B.

As some of you may know I am a teacher. Each Christmas the parents all put money in and buy the teachers a gift. Now as a guy these are usually a bit rubbish. A daft shirt, a mug or some other token so it's not like I look forward to the gift every year. This year, one of the class reps decided that they would donate the money which was gathered from Middle School and donate it to a charity that they are involved with, an Ethiopian children's charity. As a result we each got a wee panettone as a "thank you".

Although this is undoubtedly a worthwhile cause, should I not have been asked my preference about where the money should go? Am I being a dick by even questioning it?

I am 44, and have never been so offended in my life.

44? M'arse. Someone obviously had a very hard paper round part time shelf stacking job at Safeway.

I probably wouldn't have questioned it given it's a token gift anyway.

Sounds like the panettone was probably a better gift than previous years!
