He's on 4k a week with the Blades so could be a stumbling block for most Scottish teams.

But if he can't get a game in the south he will have to take what he can get in Scotland.

He'll end up at st Johnstone or Patrick or a team of that ilk.

And if we went up? We surely have to be pitching for that type of player?

Correct, two teams who have finished in the top six this season. As opposed to us potentially coming up and trying to avoid relegation. No brainer.

I hope we get up this year after going through these okay offs so many times now. Reading today United will get £750k windfall for Robertson going to Liverpool which will mean they will probably invest heavily if they don't go up, st mirren will be tough as would you would expect Inverness

None of that money will be going towards getting players in, all will be into Thompson's pocket

Surely Thompson would take 100pc of it? Even if he reinvested 25pc of it it would cause problems for the other clubs

Didnt they just put their training ground up as collatoral on a loan to keep them trading? Speculation at the time said that was intended to be short term until the Robertson windfall came in during the summer. Presumably then the money will go to redeem that loan first.

None of it will be going into anyone's pocket except to repay genuine loans. That's not how limited companies work.

Without jumping the gun. Will the ridiculous 10 ticket limit still apply to play-off final tickets if it happens?

Hopefully doubled to 20
