All I said was if it was a choice between Baird sitting on the bench all season or McHugh sitting on the bench all season then I'd have taken McHugh. To write the guy off is wrong, I'll give him at least 15 minutes to convince me. However you can legitimately question his recent pedigree and equate that to being an underwhelming signing, particularly given the claim that this is the season to push for the title. Hopefully he turns out to be one of 3 or 4 quality additions that I feel is needed to take us from playoffs nearly men to league winners. I assume at this stage our midfield looks like: Harris Craigen McKee Hippolyte With Taiwo, Kerr, Blues & Henderson in reserve. That's what our management team get paid for. They should be scouring the country for talent and yet our recruitment has been very poor since Houston arrived. Not one of his signings last summer improved our side and I include craigen as he was signed as a right mid.
