BFTD
I liked Tropic Thunder. Especially the fake trailers at the beginning. Would love to see a movie where Robert Downey Jr gets it on with Tobey Maguire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipWO3kdYXMo&feature=kp I have no idea who this person is. BTW, don't greenie my posts. They'll assume you're an alias and come looking for me. They're like wild animals on here

The Naitch
Sunshine On Leith - 8/10. What an utter joy of a movie. -
The Minertaur
Tammy No idea what the point in this was. It was just horrible from start to finish. Lucky if it got a snigger all film. 2/10 Saw this with my girlfriend earlier today. The sort of film where all the funny bits were in the trailer and not much else happened. 3/10 for me. Away to see Cold in July shortly.
Blootoon87
Unstoppable. Denzel Washington and his pal try and stop a runaway train. It's basically 'Speed' on a track. Fair enjoyed it though, 8/10.
Ira Gaines
Tony Scott was really good at those types of movie and Unstoppable was no exception. Utterly gripping.
Bearwithme
Dallas Buyers Club. 6/10. OK. Worthy but not wonderful, White House Down. 7/10. Enjoyable, well-made nonsense.
Mr. Brightside
Dallas Buyers Club. 6/10. OK. Worthy but not wonderful, White House Down. 7/10. Enjoyable, well-made nonsense. Wut.
Ira Gaines
Can't argue with the second rating or assessment of it. I'd argue all night about the first one though.

It's more to do with White House Down being given a higher score than Dallas Buyers Club. McConaughey and Leto's performances alone are worth 9 out of 10.
Kris.
12 Years a Slave - 9/10. I could write a fair few paragraphs about what was so good about it, but I can't be arsed. A few scenes were really hard to watch though, those who'll have seen it will get what I mean. Just a great film, with some wonderful acting.
KnightswoodBear
I taped The Wolverine weeks ago and finally got round to watching it last night. Apart from one or two nice ideas, it was pretty shite. It's a shame that a good character like Logan has been short changed with his two stand alone movies so far. Better than "Origins" but still poor. 4/10 Edited July 7, 2014 by KnightswoodBear

the jambo-rocker
Pan's Labyrinth 8.5/10 Never seen it before, and I'm questioning my reasons as to why now. Excellent film, although I have only one criticism of it. Showing the kid dying at the very start, kind of ruined the shock factor of it for me.
Mordecai
I saw Transformers 4 at the IMAX yesterday. I was going in thinking it was going to be one of the worst things I would ever lay my eyes upon. To be honest, it wasn't the worst film of all time, but will probably never watch it again. There were a few moments where I actually laughed out loud because the dialogue was so bad. It definitely lasted far too long. 3/10

Probably better than the 3rd one, mind.
jester
Maleficent Saw this with my daughter yesterday. A decent kids film which doesn't have a numeral after it is a rarity these days, it's certainly worth a watch. 7/10
Christophe
Extract 6/10 Joel, the owner of an extract plant, tries to contend with myriad personal and professional problems, such as his potentially unfaithful wife and employees who want to take advantage of him. It's alright. Reminds me of Office Space a bit.
