I'm not going to pretend to have watched anything of him but hopefully he can continue starting games up a level that's a positive. Always liked him at Dundee Utd. DAFC.
Won player of the year Fair play to him. Maybe he needed to take that step back with a permanent move to get himself forward. Playing at a decent level in the top flight of Portugal now. If he is to reach the potential he showed, then he’s probably going to have to impress in the top flight this coming season. Portugal league currently 6th in coefficient rankings. Surely if he goes on to keep a place in that team and impress he’ll be worth a call up? Something different to the defensive-y players we have in abundance.

Know who was good at that time? Simon Donnelly. Good player until injury. Harsh but .... Kenny was certainly suited to the single striker on the break and was always improving as shown by his brilliant goal against england in the 3 - 2 defeat

Hope he can hold down a place in the team able to stay in the division. He’s not 25 until December. Still a good chance of having a decent career. Seriously get him in the squad

BFTD
Have we ever had a player good enough that they were approached to represent a higher-rated nation? You occasionally hear about countries who'd have been able to put together the backbone of a decent side if their best players hadn't been nicked by other (usually European) nations.
