BFTD
As they say in Elgin, if you haven't got a buddy, a baby will do. And if you haven't got a baby, then God bless ewe.
Virtual Insanity
Five days later he made his first start in an injury-stricken United team, a 2–1 loss away to FC Midtjylland in the first leg of the last 31 of the UEFA Europa League, and was booked for a challenge on Martin Pušić which caused the Austrian to be substituted." I get the feeling he's going to fit in perfectly.
Bambino7
Actually quite depressing to read about '90s players who were considered comparatively poor at the time, but who we'd be ecstatic to have back now. Pa Broon's team would have made it to this Euros, nae bather. Would love to see Kevin Gallagher back in a Scotland top to be honest. His goal against Austria still gives me goosebumps. Was about 8. Celtic park aye?
Lex
See Andy Robertson is back on the bench for Hull today. He looked like he could develop into something special a couple of years back...

He played Tuesday night and last Saturday in the league and has made 36 appearances so far already this year! Have to agree, he was utter shit against Georgia though, what's happened to all these old Dundee Utd players even Goodwillie is rotten these days. Johnny Russell is the only one half dece' and they had shit loads of good youngsters. Edited February 20, 2016 by bambino7
Ira Gaines
Yup. Hull not exactly full strength today. Being on the bench isn't really reflective of how it's going for him.

Lex
Not so much a criticism of him, he is another lower level EPL player/higher level Championship player. A year or so ago he looked like he might play at a higher level than that. Remember him being linked with Arsenal for example.

Some people are so quick to write players off. He's 21 and standing out at championship level. He will definitely play at a higher level in his career

He's easily the youngest player at that high a level so its not preposterous in the slightest to suggest he'll kick on from that. Hes still the biggest prospect for us considering what hes already achieved. Hilarious you say its "quite a statement" when you yourself mewled about how John McGinn is destined for a higher level despite being only a few months younger yet being miles from the same level.

Tony Watt is doing well in the Championship too, Cardiff were away to pay 1 million for him in January but they've had to make savings I think, at Blackburn now, glad he got himself away from Charlton who are league 1 bound.Eta: agree with your post though! Hilarious you say its "quite a statement" when you yourself mewled about how John McGinn is destined for a higher level despite being only a few months younger yet being miles from the same level. He's 22 in a few weeks, as has been mentioned he's the same age as Watt. It's hardly much of a statement to suggest that McGinn will play at a higher level than the Scottish top flight one day, he'll probably end up in the English championship too. The post I was replying to implied that Robertson would definitely play at a higher level than Hull. Do you think that? Based on what? I don't disagree that he's our best prospect, that's exactly the problem. Our best prospect is nearly 22 and he's at Hull City in the English Championship. That shows the dearth of talent we have in the 18-24 age range. We have no young players who look like they will go on to play regular Champions League level/ higher end European league football anywhere. Those are the kind of players we need to produce if we are going to get to a major tournament again. Robertson will have a good career for himself at a team like Hull and likely will be our left back for many years to come.
