third lanark
That's an absolute hammer blow. We've been chasing him for years. Glad I haven't bought my season ticket yet, the club is a shambles.but if you had renewed your season ticket we may have been able to afford him!!! Between Mickael going to Eastleigh and Muirhead away to the jambos things really are grim firhill way
Reid
f**k knows what I'm meant to do all summer now. Was hoping to make it 5 transfer windows on the bounce where the simpletons on WAT and Facebook groups believed we were set to sign the boy.

Smurph
Following Miller and Frans leaving after being offered less money, we've missed out on one of our main signing targets after being outbid by Eastleigh. #armageddon That's an absolute hammer blow. We've been chasing him for years. Glad I haven't bought my season ticket yet, the club is a shambles. Can't believe the club have yet again missed out on Mandron. The lad bleeds red and yellow. Dark days. Obviously joking. but if you had renewed your season ticket we may have been able to afford him!!! Between Mickael going to Eastleigh and Muirhead away to the jambos things really are grim firhill way Might actually be serious.
Cerberus
We also lost out on Ashcroft and Kilday. Unless we can sign Geggan it's going to be a long season.

Red 'N Yellow
Oh wow, actual news! http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2016-2017/june_2016/thistle_make_first_summer_signing Was offered a contract by Wimbledon but refused, seems well thought of by their fans. Looks a good signing. Edited June 15, 2016 by Red 'N Yellow
Bishop Briggs
Oh wow, actual news! http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2016-2017/june_2016/thistle_make_first_summer_signing He turned down a new contract at Wimbledon - http://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/article/ade-departs-for-scotland-3143960.aspx. 14 goals in 96 appearances. Seems to have spent a lot of time of the bench last season as Lyle Taylor had an excellent season. Bit of a cult figure at Wimbledon, but mainly for falling over his own feet. Really hard working, fast and very willing but typified by winning the penalty in the League Two playoff final. Cut inside, beat himself and the defender with total miscontrol yet somehow contrived to get fouled. Has been "one for the future" for as long as we had him but he's never reallly looked like he's going to understand a) offside or b) what day it is. Wouldn't really have expected the future to be in the SPL! He's entertaining, that's for sure, and certainly has his impressive moments but please don't be too hard on him when he airkicks from a yard out. Reid
Not the most exciting signing but sounds like a useful one. Felt we were lacking pace upfront last season so that's been sorted. Archie obviously sees him a good player if we've offered him a new deal. Would imagine Nisbet will head out on-loan now. He's certainly a player that divides opinion but he has pace and strength. He's nowhere near the quality of Lyle Taylor (who Jags fans will remember) but he has improved since he was signed by Neal Ardley as a "work in progress project ." He wouldn't be on massive money but he was offered a new contract probably on more money than he was on. He'll frustrate the life out of you with his misses and lack of control. One of his biggest failings is between his ears, he lacks instinct and a football brain. Be interesting to see how he does. He always gives 100%.He's no Will Griggs but has the same song. You'll even see him singing it in this clip of the AFC Wimbledon players celebrating promotion after the L2 playoff final.

Fuctifano
Archie on the AFC Wimbledon squad page on FM, trying to sign Taylor for the umpteenth time, thinks f**k it... Agreed that pace through the middle was definitely something we've lacked at this level when we haven't had Taylor, compared to having ATS/ SOD/ Dumbuya/ Elliott / Amoo on the wings. That should really be us for attacking players though.
AMMjag
Doolan, Lawless, and two Chris Erskines. Who do we want in the Europa League qualifiers? His twitter looks a bit George Moncur though.
