Costanza
Pretty sure you are not allowed to travel in the same vehicle at the moment.

Hopefully they're fit and well and have avoided passing it to any family etc.

Valentino Bolognese
With 10 days isolation, these players won't play another league game this season.

ETA the isolators might have had contact with the positives earlier, hadn't considered that. There were certainly 2 players buses at Easter Road so it could be as simple as sitting within 2 m of one of the 2 infected players on Saturday.
Saint Huck
This may be a stupid question as I'm not in the UK. Haven't the players all been vaccinated yet?

Not likely, unless they've went down the unpaid carer loophole that is. We are only just vaccinating the over 40s.

This may be a stupid answer as I'm not a scientist, but my understanding is the vaccines are better at stopping people from getting ill rather than stopping people from testing positive for covid, if they've even had them.
perthsaints99
Did anyone else pick up on the fact that in the latest round of tests, all results came back as negative? Implies that the positive tests were in fact false positives, but the players have to self isolate regardless. Shambles if that's the case.

Papers are claiming the 2 close contacts were identified due to seating plans on the bus to the Hibs game, with Saints adamant they were a "safe" distance away. It is a Keith Jackson article though, so I'm entirely unconvinced it's not just him trying to stir up a controversy tbh.

Not to sound like one of these Twitter fan pages who claim they're ITK at every available opportunity, but these are 100% the four players who will be missing for Sunday. Squad tested again today.
