The Golden God
Was just about to say, showing how bad Mercedes are when he’s stuck behind an Aston and then he Latifi’s it.
V.Aye.R
One of F1’s nice guys win. Verstappen out and double dose of Merc Misery. Steiner back on our screens. worth getting up in the middle of the night for
The Golden God
Steiner doing the interviews is random but I like it.
Jim McLean's Ghost
Red Bull surely have to think about taking Sainz and binning Perez. Whether Max would be happy with real competition in the team is another matter
The Golden God
Italian anthem when Ferrari win is up there with the best in sport. Hopefully get it at Monza and Imola.

Ferrari also have 3 different drivers having a better season than both of the Mercs combined.
Gianfranco
Sainz must be on the radar of Mercedes and Perez’s seat at Red Bull. I’d love it if he did a Damon Hill in 96 and win the championship before leaving the team.
Gianfranco
Alonso given a 20 second penalty and 3 penalty points on his license. I didn’t even know it was under investigation. Can see that being overturned on appeal. Edited March 24 by Gianfranco

It didn't look like a deliberate brake test to me
MP_MFC
Braking and accelerating erratically causing Russell to unexpectedly have to, eh, drive.

V.Aye.R
Mercedes have resorted to grassing to the Stewards. That is now the best they can be.
Jim McLean's Ghost
George at least had the spatial awareness to know he was in the middle of the track. Alonso definitely partially to blame. He was trying to check Russel before the apex. And George badly failed the brake test.
Mackie The Staggie
Looks like the Red Bull bosses are ready to swing the axes again, with Danny Ric being given a few races to improve his form before he's dumped for Liam Lawson.

Taking from that he is no longer an option to replace Perez next season. That was the whole point of him being at this team in the first place. So its going to be now whether he decides to be done with F1 before F1 is done with him. I'm sure he will give it his best shot, however no one escapes the axe warning, not in F1. Not a surprise, everyone could see he had lost some speed at McLaren and that wasn't down to the car. He's a different level in understanding the car and communication than de Vries was but looks like not any quicker. It would also be annoying if people start trying to lobby other teams to take him just because they believe he has an entertaining personality.

Good. He shouldn't have got the drive ahead of Liam Lawson in the first place.
Miguel Sanchez
Danny Ric should have been out of the sport by the time he left Renault. Absolutely remarkable what smiling a lot can get you in a notoriously ruthless and exacting sport.
