Various rags reporting that Nonce Andrew may be coming to Scotland to "rebuild his life" hide away and die in solitude.

FTFY, but seriously, unless you live in Balmoral and limit life to areas around it in a manner similar to living in Castle Huntly, how out of touch do you have to be in order to think that Scotland is a better place to rebuild?

Eta: anyone fancy laying stones on a hillside of an adjacent estate, spelling NONCE in 10m high letters?

In Berat, Enver Hoxha had his name written in stone on the mountain facing the city. After the fall of communism locals changed Enver to Never. 3028d133683194ebfdf96cb77a342a33.jpg

As long as he gets similar level of housing as other asylum seekers, I am all for it.

Can imagine him being chased round Wester Hailes by the wee radges on BMX bikes 😆

It's a bit of an indictment of the media. If you're up to no good, just head north and most will lose interest.

Would a Lottery Funding Grant Application for this worthy community project be successful, do you think ?

I'd travel (& pay) to see a reenactment of the final scene of The Wickerman with PA in the role of honour!

His Nonceness is just not wanted by the other members of his inbred tribe.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jun/13/prince-andrew-barred-from-procession-lobbing-charles-william-duke-of-york-garter-windsor

"News that the Duke of York would not take part in the procession followed a report in the Sun that he had been banned from appearing after the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge lobbied the Queen. Senior royals feared a “backlash”, the newspaper said, adding that Charles and William were said to have agreed to their approach before telling the Queen, who made the final decision."

I wonder what the Scottish equivalent of Craggy Island is?

Shame they decontaminated Gruinard really.

Maybe send him there to test it out...
