Well unfortunately Tinky-Winky got a taste for the needle some of the locals in  Greenock enjoy, so the rest of the teletubbies  are supporting him through rehab at the moment.

Fallin is the only place I’ve seen parents bringing a cargo to an under 12s match. Have i just led a sheltered life?

624 new cases

7 deaths

405 in hospital

38 ICU

41184 1st does

10221 2nd doses

17 fewer in hospital, just a 2.7 percent positivity rate and deaths remaining very low.

Another really promising set of figures. Excellent news.

Key point is that they still expect to complete the JCVI priority list where 99% of issues lie.

If a healthy 29 yr old misses their jag by a couple of weeks I don't see it having too much of an impact to on hospital/icu stats.

whilst case numbers not coming down and an excellent pecentage positive (2.7% - as low as it has been?) this obviously means that we are doing a lot more tests - any particular reason for this?

Now is the time to prime the SAS for a series of vaccine grabbing raids on continental Europe.

The spat with the EU seems to be getting far more prominance over what appears to be the main reason for under-supply for a month long period - production of the AZ vaccine in India

Anyway do we stop calling it the Oxford Astra Zenica vaccine and as there are production problems it should be known as the Indian Astra Zenica vaccine?
