Was in charge of our 3-2 loss last season away to Partick in December where he had a part to play in all 3 goals for Thistle, absolute clown of a referee.  Genuinely probably the worst that's floating about Premiership/Championship, which is some accolade.

Think we were also denied at least one absolute stonewaller in that game as well.

Question for the Ayr folks, what’s the best place for a few beers pre game these days?

Been a few different places over the years but just wondering what the locals view is! A pub with a decent atmosphere and music/jukebox preferred.

Also, assume the bowling club is still open pre match for away fans?

Any in put will be much appreciated -cheers!

Munro is bad, but he's not this bad.

Looks like he's taken up Riverdancing.

I must’ve been down to Somerset 10 or 11 times over the years and have never seen us win. Never, ever feel confident going there.

I know exactly how you feel

Away fans welcome in the Hub before the game, scran, pints and queues guaranteed.

Not sure which boozers in town would be busy pre-match tbh...

There were loads of Dundee Utd fans in the Hub in the recent game, no problems either.

Football fans outside of the OF can generally behave without any issues. It’s what makes the treatment of us by the authorities utterly tiresome.

Apart from the ones who attacked the club mascot that is.

Note to Rovers fans that if you're heading down by train you'll likely only be able to get as far as Prestwick Town.

That's not such a bad thing, some decent boozers on Prestwick Main Street to go to pre-match. Then plenty of buses or cheap taxi 10 minutes down the road to the ground.

Also, as others have mentioned both the Hub at the ground and Hawkhill Bowling Club (also basically next door) will be open and away fans are always welcome in both.

So just ban them. Not for a few games but the two clubs should put a permanent ban in place to stop them visiting Tannadice or Somerset.

If every time at the football when there are flares chucked on the pitch, any fights breaking out at games or sectarian singing when Celtic or Rangers play just ban a select few of the culprits or all of them if it’s a small enough group. The message will either get through to the rest of them to behave themselves or you’ll simply keep banning them until the idiots are no longer there. I’m not sure why clubs haven’t taken this approach and favour the “strongly condemn these actions” in a mewling social media post which isn’t doing anyone any good.

Bowling club should be open. It was for Thistle's Friday night win,a couple of weeks ago.

Murray has no clue what his strongest team is, I’m tired of the tinkering. We looked flat and ran out of ideas last Saturday  and for a squad this big that doesn’t bode well. Looks like we’ll be struggling for a defence if Watson doesn’t make it. We’ve struggled at Somerset for years and I can’t see that changing any time soon.

Because stewards and turnstile staff sadly aren't paid enough to face-fit every punter against an International Bams Database every week.

It’s absolutely achievable when it comes to OF fans as games are televised and there’s plain clothed police at most of these games now.

At our level it’s harder, granted, but there’s CCTV in the ground isn’t there? Just pass it along to the away team as they’ll have a higher chance of identifying the fans probably.

Yeah, if you're coming by train it will be Prestwick for you as that's where it terminates due to the fire at the station on Monday.  Red Lion which is just up from the station is generally decent for scran and beer and has a jukey I think and as said isn't too far in a taxi to the ground.  You also have the Buf further down and the new One 11 place which is the old Scruffy Duffys, but that seems more of a wine bar now.  The Hub at the ground ticks all boxes bar the jukey.  Also pitch should be fine.

I’m sure someone told me that One 11 was specialising in charcuterie boards?

Charcuterie boards and Somerset Park is the educated gentleman’s day out.
