J_Stewart Posted October 17, 2023 Share Posted October 17, 2023 Someone said it earlier in here, but the French players are all (Giroud aside) lightning quick, and it’s one of the major differences between the two teams here. We’ve got a lot of players very comfortable in possession, but when France are set defensively, we’ve no options in behind the centre backs or full backs, which lets them be very comfortable and then pick us off when it gets forced.
