First shot on target. Probably during our best spell too

First shot on target for either side, as yet again out "spell on top" results in multiple hopeless shots from miles out and endless crosses to nobody.

The lack of ability Costelloe has is staggering considering he seemingly thought he was too good to come up and play for the likes of St Johnstone.

One of many jobbers that should be nowhere near our team.

HT 1-0
Deservedly ahead I think. First 35 minutes absolutely nothing happened; don't think either side had a half chance.
Then a nice move was well finished by Baccus from the edge of the box. Since then we've pressed on and looked likely to get the second.
St Johnstone playing like the perennial bottom feeders that they are, hopeless.
Still going to need that second goal to kill it though.

Oh yeah, a total a lack of quality. Costelloe miscontrolling one chance and then totally snatching at another.

Defended well and looked under no real pressure though. Then an absolute worldy out of nothing.

Aye, we started well but much like the Livi game, you feel like thats because our opponents were struggling to get going more than anything.

Perhaps fortunate, perhaps quality, for the opener, but St Mirren have gone up a gear since while we look done.

Can see this being like the game here 4/5 years ago under TW when we just completely collapsed and lost by about 3.

Not a clue how we set up to actually turn this around and not sure MacLean knows either. Feels like we're just praying Jaiyesimi can do something.

Not been a great game. Great strike by Baccus, if it wasn't for that I'd probably say St Johnstone were the slightly better team.

It's been quite stop start, the ref has given an awful lot of soft fouls. St Johnstone number 15 falls over anytime a player gets to within a foot of him.
