Raith v Partick, 8 Dec...the race to keep up with DU

Recommended Posts

We played 11 outfield players and didn't deserve anything in the end.

Raith were very impressive apart from a dip for 20 mins in the 2nd half and well worth the win. A motivated, attacking side. Obviously it would be v funny if you lot eased past Dindee Yinited to win the league this season.

100% not jealous of Raith Rovers. 100%! Would I swap the hugely attractive football, the massive heart and soul the players apply, the ability to snatch victory from defeat, the feel good factor around the club, the fantastic social media presence and the league position for what Ayr United give me? Nah. But mibbies. Does Raith do construction of a new stand porn?

They have a portacabin!

Raith deserved to win over the 90 minutes, they had a mad ten minutes and to be fair we actually took advantage of it for once but once they settled again they were by far the better team.

I was shouting for subs to be made at 3-2, but the subs when they came on made us worse.

If I'm being slightly churlish we didn't get the breaks off the ref tonight. Didn't look like a corner for the first goal and the free kick for their winner was very soft as well, but we had opportunity to defend both far better so I'm not blaming the ref for the result.
