Big bad physical Morton clogged off the park again. Airdrie are dirty b*****ds but we've stuck a dagger into them all the same.

get it right up yous, hatchet little nothing club.

Much venom for a “little nothing club”. Morton deserved the win. We were pish. Enjoy the celebrations. Another few hours before you need to load the dishwasher in Wetherspoons.

A miracle for both teams to finish with 11 men there, in Morton's case because of how many players were limping and in Airdrie’s because of the challenges that caused those injuries. An absolute gang who set out their stall to kick anything that moved in the first 10 minutes and knew they would get away with it from the moment Taylor-Sinclair escaped with a booking after that assault.

You want the sting taken out the game a bit once you race into a 2-0 lead, but we probably got a bit too standoffish and sat too deep from going two up for the rest of the first half, allowing Airdrie a bit too much room in midfield, but still we didn't really look in much danger of conceding.

Second half we should have had a third to bury things early on between Quitongo's chance and a couple off the line from set-pieces, but we got noticeably weaker after the subs to allow Airdrie to look threatening then fell out of it entirely after Oakley was forced off by further Taylor-Sinclair thuggery. Poor goal to lose to make it a scary last few minutes, not sure who it was who lost their man, but job done ultimately.

Well I had 0 thought that 10 minutes added time would’ve happened

Ref actually cut it short. 7 mins injury but only played 6.

Anyway well done to Morton and it looks like a top 4 place is virtually guaranteed. We have a job on our hands finishing 8th as I can't help thinking that Arbroath losing a 94th equaliser today has more or less knocked the stuffing out of them.

We can't - it's broken. You kicked the f**k out of it.

Not me sir. Enjoyed several pre game spoons ales with decent football fans. Evidently not the little p***ks that are spending their Saturday evening here. All the best old chap.

Hard fought win and crucial three points. Could have been out of sight and airdrie didn't really look like scoring until they got one back. Shame to lose what would have added to our excellent clean sheet record but we held on valiantly.

Referee and Cowshed linesman were a joke all day. If our 2nd was as offside as it looked then it was a shocking decision from the linesman who was still running back in to position as garrity was shooting. He also stood and watched waters take a couple of digs on the ground from the right back.

Referee was baffling too. Let mullen poleaxe the airdrie striker and also put his hand in his pocket late on to book Taylor sinclair then shat it when he realised he was already booked.

Massive three points anyway and the table is looking good right now.

A strange game that, but very good 3 points. I was right in line with our second and was astonished that was given, but just about sums up the officials from today.
