I was halfway down the motorway when I took a sip, and it was only half full. Good job. Imagine if it was full, you hit a bump on the road and spill boiling hot coffee over your lap, making you accidently slam on the brakes and skid across the lanes hitting a van full of school children, causing a 17 vehicle pile up and 12 deaths. All over a coffee.

Next to something that absorbs moisture, like a bowl of cat litter. People have had success repairing circuit boards with a quick blast in the oven, the theory being that it melts the solder and fixes dodgy connections, but they need to be stripped down as plastics aren't keen on high temperatures! Cheers for the replies. Took it in and it's fucked. It's not allowing it to charge and it's the logic board that's the problem. and I'd already put it near the dehumidifier to see if that would sort it out. They don't make the parts any more, and have none sitting about, but the cost of getting it sorted would just take a good chunk out of getting a new one. I'd been considering getting an upgrade sometime soon anyway. And for clarification it wasn't tractor porn.

I was going to give her a full invective about her actions but she had her wee daughter in the car. Anyway she let me clean up in her house. Unfortunately that's as far as it went. There's just no justice in the world. Sadly you're kind of at fault here. Granted motorists should be opening their doors with their left hand so that they're forced to look behind them and can react quickly to oncoming traffic, but you need to be riding in the middle of the lane (or at least a third of the way in) when passing parked cars. Sorry it didn't end the way you wanted it to amigo.

It's definitely down to the person opening the door without checking.

I was meaning bicycles. I think I remember that liability in this case is down to the cyclist. Certainly it's the safer option to ride a bit out. I've rarely found it too materially difficult to do this, often I just have to get over the psychological hurdle of having a driver up my arse.

I often want to do that when they're parked on a bike lane tbf.
