Aye, remember Connor brought Gordon Dalziel in from East Stirling who were way down the lower league at the time.
Beachbum
Dalziel had been with Rangers, Man City and Partick before that but 'lost his way' and fine you know it.
Broken Algorithms
There'll always be exceptions for the rule. Just look at the likes of Andrew Robertson and Barry Douglas (who played on the day we won the league at Hampden). By and large though, you'd be able to pick players like that out as being exceptional talents. Both the lads from East Fife hardly sent shivers down our spines when we played East Fife last season.

To be fair to Wilkie, he only played in two of the games against you last season, in the first game that we won't talk about, but also in the second game at Nou Bayview, where he scored and was probably the best player on the park, sadly that was the last "great" game we ever had/got from him!!!

Well, I did know that actually, and felt it went without saying, so....I never said it!! He also scored as a 17/18 year old in the Cup Final for Rangers etc, etc, The guy just lost his way and was heading out of the game, but....oor Frank sorted him out.

Raithie
We have a knack of getting players who have been great for their previous team(s) and then get 'Rovered' when they come to us. I'm all for people downplaying these current targets in a hopeful bid it'll do the opposite and they end up doing well for us. We're jumping the gun anyway as we've not signed them yet.
CALDERON
Barry Mckay and Craig Wighton are prime examples of players with good reputations who were gutless as f**k when they played with us.

Only started turning up again when he offered fans outside for a square go against Arbroath. Trying to think of those who have done the reverse. Off the top of my head, the best was Brian Graham.

renton
Note to Barry Smith, assuming we don't get off to a horrific start and end up doing a Dunfermline in the league, expect teams to sit in against us. Therefore, your gonna need wide players with decent upper body strength and acceleration in order to beat men from a standing start in a tight space. Guys who show up for two months a year, and spend the rest of the time deliberately hiding behind their marker need not apply.
