How about asking the supporters which design is best? We could produce a few  design possibilities and have an online poll. Most votes win.

Would be a good idea. Think East Fife did that for what ended up being their tartan'esque home top and think Morton did something similar in recent years.

Ghosting a large white crest on a brilliant lime green shirt, with navy blue sleeves (with lime trim) and numbers would be pretty interesting. Wouldn’t be surprised if it would be a surprise sales hit.

No just no, you'll be wanting us to turn Vegan next ala Forest Green.

Mind you that might tempt the maestro Hendry back .............. on second thoughts let's go for it😉

Wouldn’t trust our fans to pick their nose, let alone a strip.

Saw that both strips are half priced to clear in club shop. Also saw social media post about huge amount of training gear (the stuff which has found its way into the club shop in the past) being donated to local good cause. Moving away from Joma?

It’s all old unused Puma kits.

Limited capability to design on a site I found via a quick search…but take this and brighten the green up to full neon and take a white outline of the Raith crest like we did with the red on blue last year, but larger and wrapping from the middle under the right arm…get it bright enough and the kids will go for it.

Joma does this, just mute the pattern, insert the crest, continue the green in back, and change to Navy blue:

Big no to us having a strip that looks like the Seattle Sounders.

Do you think we are going full Darvel with the fancy lights and sockets at each players section for charging phones etc?

Stupid not to if we are rewiring/plumbing/laying out the whole place. I’d make sure there’s a couple of outlets, a Cat5e or Cat6 cable, and an optical cable at each one. The cost to wire it now is peanuts, and if the conduit for the data cables is run right, it’ll be easy enough to update if necessary down the road.

Yea, most stuff can be done WiFi or Bluetooth now, but why not spend a few pence now to save pounds down the road? It’s also a show to the players that we’re serious about this stuff. You can laugh about how we can show a player we’re interested in that his locker will have a couple of outlets, but that stuff can actually work. An accumulation of little things can show what the club is trying to do, and result in big things.

Hell, it may seem silly to provide some upgrades in the Visitors Dressing Room, but even a few touches there can give a positive impression to visiting players (and managers/coaches)…and who knows when that can be the difference in signing someone.

Away dressing rooms should have the bare minimum amenities.

Do any stadium tour and the away dressing rooms are basic (in contrast to the home dressing room)

Happy enough with that. I assume Masson will go out on loan, at least for the first half of the season and get a good number of games under his belt. Mitchell will be squad filler but offers good pace and may develop further.

As others have said, the fact that Young hasn’t announced with them suggests he is away. Not really seen enough of him to know what standard he is at but Murray will know best. Not sure how reliable but I heard we offered a deal to a Premier League left back that was out of contract but he then received a renewal from his current team which he subsequently signed.  So if we are in the market for a new left back, as I think we need to be, then it makes sense for Young to move on as with Dick reported as in talks over a new deal he would likely have ended up as third choice.

IMO I don't think having Mitchell as a squad filler will do anything to help him develop. Put him out on loan for a few months to a better standard of team and see if he can hack it or not.

Not so true anymore, at least in sports with robust free agency. I’m not saying make them as fully fitted out as the Home Dressing Room, but providing the required items plus a few minor updates…maybe a location with plugs rather than in the lockers, a couple of speakers they can play some music over, minor stuff like that costs very little but gives a positive impression of Raith to opposition players…and God knows we’ve signed plenty of people who have played against us at some time.

The age of opposition Dressing Rooms painted pink, with no warm water, etc, is over.
