Change of software. Before, I was editing using clipchamp, which was fine but the file sizes it renders into are absolutely insanely large.

Blair recommended Davinci Resolve which is a bit more technical, but works better overall and renders both quicker and to smaller file sizes. The first time I used it, it defaulted into mono. I thought it had been fixed, but it turns out it was a local fix on my side and literally nobody mentioned that there was a wider issue until earlier tonight when Scott flagged that a couple of his mates had had the same thing happen.

A bit of youtube diving came up that it automatically moves the files into a mono audio, meaning that on spotify and podcasting places it will go into one speaker (the left). It should be fixed for the latest episode. All part of the learning curve with this.

It should be mentioned, that Iain Grieve contacted me tonight saying he also uses Davinci and has done a bit of training on it and that he can give some pointers on it. He's done that completely off his own back, extending an invitation over for it. Absolute class act!

Really enjoying the podcast and it makes the morning commute more bearable so keep up the good work with it.

Fair play to Iain greive offering up his services also.

I’ve wondered about them with their well publicised Old firm allocation for home games.

Strike me as a club that if they do fall through the SPL trapdoor you wouldn’t see them back up.

I hope if they do fall through, they go straight to the lowland league, the only club out of the arse cheeks that I actually despise

Just to build on what a couple of others have alluded to above: Livingston away is a rather underwhelming tie, but it also has the potential to be a valuable training exercise for our squad. If we end up in the playoffs, this is *exactly* the standard of opposition we will have to beat if we want to go up.

If I could have picked the one tie I didn’t want it would have been Livi away.

The biggest Meh draw possible, fucking plastic team, can't wait until they actually go bust for the final time

On the other hand, the options we had when we were drawn were:

Airdrie, Alloa, Buckie Thistle, Celtic, Dumbarton, Forfar, Hibs, Livi, Motherwell, Partick, Rangers, Ross County, St. Johnstone.

Thats 7 Premiership teams, 2 Championship, 1 League One, 2 League Two and 1 non-League. So we had a 50% chance of a Premiership team where we were selected, and we got the weakest one. Airdrie and Partick would likely be more of a challenge than Livi, and the lower teams would all quite possibly be a ticket allocation below what we would likely bring if we were drawn away to them. Meh it may be, but all our fans will likely get tickets and we should be able to win it at the Spaghettihad, even if it is a soulless mausoleum.

Now all we need is M8/9 road works at the M90 announced for the weekend of Jan 20/21!

Feel like drawing Livingston in this cup is becoming a fairly common occurrence - must be the third time in the last four/five years?

I don't think we have much to fear and I'm sure we can take them if we play as well as we know we can. Glad Hamilton is signed permanently rather than on loan, I reckon he could be vital.

I’d have taken any of those at home, even Livi. Preferred away day out of that lot would have been St Johnstone. Livingston it is, though. What can you do? Hopefully we get the win this time.

I think this is the best episode of the podcast so far, if anyone hasn't listened yet but is considering jumping in.

I concur. The Podcast has been fantastic with great pacing, discussions and humour. It's also very engaging, the hour or so just flies in.

FTFY, they got a wee bit loquacious after that win.

In Benidorm having a romantic lunch with my wife. Lovely wine and fabulous food. Staring into her beautiful eyes I suddenly start singing the Dylan Easton song. Am I broken?
