It’s not as if Ashcroft was coming to us off a period of inactivity, he’d played and played well for Dundee from about mid January up until when he joined us, so he’s been fit. As it stands, it’s not a massive loss as Watson has come back into the side and looked very, very good alongside Murray. It’s just whether or not those two can stay fit for the rest of the season that will be the main issue. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us offer Ashcroft a deal beyond the end of the season if he is free to leave Dundee, despite having another year on his contract there.
