Remember we are the giant killers this round so should get TV money if we draw one of them. Knowing our luck we'll draw ICT or Killie away. Rangers and Celtic guarantee TV money because that's all whatever Premier Sports is called now will broadcast. Unless Rangers and Celtic draw each others, it might be all 4 ties on TV across the weekend.

If Wikipedia is to be believed, it looks as though the current deal is for all 4 quarter finals to be shown live.

Been going too long
8 hours ago, Ro Sham Bo said: Watching the highlights there and the role Brown played in the 3rd goal sums up the attitude and workrate of him and the team in general. He bursts a gut to get possession back while the Motherwell players are half asleep from their own throw and then starts the attack that led to the goal. Also, don't know if anyone noticed Millen going absolutely mental in the celebrations, running about 60 yards and round the back of the goal like he'd scored it himself. Great stuff. Yeah millen ran right past us, you love to see it and long may it continue
R.R.FC
I make that 17 games unbeaten in 90 minutes in cup games at Stark’s Park. In our last 25, dating back to 2016, Dundee are the only side (twice) to beat us in 90 minutes in a cup tie at Stark’s. Resounding home defeat in the next round then…

foreverarover
We are talking about the money senario. What will happen to this money. Will it go to securing players for next season or into the pocket of Sim when the club is sold. roverthemoon
For once, not interested in the payday. Want one of the non-Premiership teams to give us a chance of progressing.
Broken Algorithms
Honestly, I think we want a crack at one of the lower teams left and then get one of the old firm at Hampden. If we got through to play either of them it would be a game changer in terms of our picture. Not sure if its changed since 2010, but aren't gate receipts from the semis on split between all teams. Every team left at our level or below will fancy their chances with the right draw.
pantene proV
Yeah, with the amount of diddy teams left, I want one of those at home. Then it doesn't matter who we would get in the semi-final if the prize money is shared

Correct, the semi receipts, after deductions and rent, are split evenly between the four teams (the deductions are 10% to the SFA, plus the costs of VAR and GLT, plus club guarantees…then you pay the ground rental…then they divide the remainder by the four teams). The finals are the same between the two.

Raithfan2711
Would like Falkirk at home. Winner gets a trip to Hampden. Would get a big crowd, reckon it would be a good game and there’s a story behind it with John McGlynn managing them that would give it a decent atmosphere.
TxRover
Want: Falkirk/Darvel at SP OK with: Ayr at SP or Falkirk away If we have to: ICT at SP or Ayr away If it’s one of the big boi’s: Rangers at SP for the money and chance.

RR #1
Would be happy with any of the championship teams or Falkirk/Darvel at home or away. Even Killie at Starks would be decent draw for us. Hopefully old firm get drawn together and the winner gets hearts in the semis.
