It was negligence re the catering.

Maybe it's too easy to summarise this way, but I suspect we became seen as being a lot less toxic with John Sim no longer being involved as a face. The man did plenty to help us in the past up until January 2022 and then completely fucked it for the club.

It's a changed place.

John Sim still does plenty to help the club, he is still involved. Unlike around the time of the insanely poor DGW decision, he is not forced to get involved as much and has other overseen the introduction of new investors and directors with specialist knowledge to make things better at the club. I’ve moved on from holding that mistake against him because it actually took some awareness to accept that he needed to do this as the majority shareholder. We’ve seen folk at other clubs double down and things spiral. Completely get the DGW matter was a colossal misstep, but he has been involved in positive changes since whether folk like to admit it or not, especially within the community investment.

I follow the mantra 'YOU BELONG' - as outlined by our fantastic club.

If anyone wants a square go about me sharing the positive news with a fellow fan I'll be at the top of Broom Road tomorrow night at 9pm in my Club 1883 hat and scarf otherwise bore off.

Should one "bring their maw" to said duel?

Nice editing 👌 what was that about folk who are not 1883 members shutting their mouths in your first draft?

Hey ho, I like that the Fife Grenta tag is being taken head on. The boldness is something I can see other boardrooms struggling with which is great.

Decided it was uncalled for...

You have to love that some encouraging half year financials have descended into bitter infighting including bringing "maws" into it😂

There's nothing quite like finances to cause a ruckus on this forum.

Usually it's between rival fans when it's suggested a certain club has a a higher budget, right enough.

A guy not paying for 1883 membership telling someone who does, what to do with their membership 😂😂 honestly, brilliant.

Fan who pays 1883 membership does others who maybe can't afford it a solid and gets slated by one of said fans 😂 can't script this shit.

I remember when signing up for the 1883 membership and the secrecy act that went along with it. Had MI5 there and everything. @OhnononoGeordieMunroYour f**ked mate 😂😂😂

Those figures wow, That's a remarkable turnaround from where we were, it just shows the difference that people with the right football business acumen being in charge can make

All hail the Village Idiots, and long may they reign................. now if you can just see your way to bolster our defence😉

Very pleasing to see such positive figures, it’s always a little concerning how we were financing a lot of the new ideas the board have but the figures certainly look promising.  Amazing what having the right people in the right positions csn do.

When they were doing diligence they must have wondered how the f**k we were still in business.

Considering we're "doing a gretna" and in fairness a lot of new positions have been created as well. To only increase the footballing budget by 7% is some doing.

Great turnaround financially considering the disaster of 2022 transfer window , Onwards and upwards

Regarding the 1883 club I simply joined to help the club out and help towards achieving the target they set, proof is in the pudding as they say the fans have bought the new Gym equipment and now the 600 seats that were broken that’s good enough for me and if we get exclusive news 1st hand before anyone else I’m fine with that but it’s great to share info it might encourage more fans to join which will only help the club further

Not got an issue with this.

Time for Murray to use his defensive options better.

Also wonder why Corr isnt getting a game.  The lad is tall, and strong.  I honestly cannot think of him having a bad game when he has had the chance.

Bit of trivia - he is the son of Barry-John Corr.  Ex Celtic player from a wee while back.  He is also my bosses nephew....

IM mentioned that when he was raving about corr at the beginning of season. Wonder what happened with that one.

maybe ask your boss lol! Does he have family this way like?
