Good luck to him. From reading the articles posted earlier about his style of play and philosophy, I look forward to seeing if he can implement that in our squad. I’m sure he might have a few ideas about some gems from the lower leagues down south too.

I know I said after Healy turned us down that whoever we did end up appointing Barrowman would come out and claim they were our first choice all along, but I was just taking the piss, I didn't expect him to actually do it.

Leaving Barrowman's fantasy tale to one side, this seems a decent enough choice in the circumstances we've ended up in. Let's hope he does well.

Why not? Maybe we spoke to him first and couldnt make the personal terms work for him at the time. A few weeks later and one or two knockbacks probably changes the financial equation fro mthe club's point of view.
