As much as Butcher has to be a wind up. He's not managed in 3 years so our shoddy board probably think he'll be the ideal candidate.His last job was Newport County so he'll be used to working with our calibre of player.

He recently left as Manager of the Philippines national team earlier this year, i would say its not high on his priority list at the moment due to his son taking his life because of PTSD.

Is it tempting fate that at both Wigan and Chesterfield, Caldwell has inherited pish playing squads from an inept manager and ended up being relegated ??
