ka202
Has anyone noticed that the last 4 seasons including this one, falkirk's opening fixture of the league chad been away from home? Raith Rovers, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, Cowdenbeath
gav-ffc
Yet to win an opening day fixture for several years also.
Gaz FFC
In the SPL it was 2005 Inverness (H) 2006 Dundee Utd (A) 2007 Gretna (A) 2008 Rangers (H) 2009 Rangers (A) So 3 home starts in the last 10 seasons We've won 2 of these starts and those were away to Utd and Gretna. In conclusion, we are getting shafted and shit at starts.
Andy Dufresne
I would bring in a player/coach again rather than an assistant. God knows who perhaps Skacel? Scott MacKenzie ticks all the boxes for an assistant.

bunglebonce
What's the craic with Kieran Duffie? I saw he wasn't in the match squads for the cup ties and the last I read, he was due to sign a new contract a couple of months ago. Maybury might be alright against lower league opposition but he was honking for Hibs when called upon at the end of last season.
NavyBlueArmy1876
Duffie is injured, and hopefully back soon. Maybury is finished (he wasn't even convincing against Montrose) and will be there as emergency cover, though I'd rather see our young fullback Liam Rowan given a chance if Duffie is unavailable.
gav-ffc
Good to see the official site post something more than advertising/sales. Houston saying no bids recieved for anyone and looking to bring in a new striker and a experienced player to help with injuries and suspensions.
Guest
Good to see the official site post something more than advertising/sales. Houston saying no bids recieved for anyone and looking to bring in a new striker and a experienced player to help with injuries and suspensions. Really good point. Fans I have spoken to are tired of being sold to constantly and getting little football news Edited August 8, 2014 by Back Post Misses

Anthony Fitzgerald
Latest rumour I've heard is Houston is looking to bring in an ex Falkirk striker to training next week. One that's been playing in India the last year, any ideas?
