Also we need to get Tait signed up. Brad the man Spencer showed his leadership and took responsibility for (arguably) the most important goal of the season, in those circumstances, the setting, and the pressure. Anyone else notice the utter silence in his run up, could hear a pin drop! The lad must have balls of steel. In adversity they have all showed an astonishing mentality in keeping this run going. Man sent off, scored an o.g and 70 minutes with 10en? Not losing 2 penalties against us? Still not losing No proper centre halves, striker playing in central defence, 2-0 down? Nope still not losing, not having it. To come from 2-0 down with no centre halves, our first choice striker playing at centre half and having no cover defensively that’s an outstanding result that typifies this squad and season. Was saying today, if comparisons were to be made, that MacIver’s versatility (upfront and defence) reminded me of big Crawford Baptie - a stalwart in defence and knocked in few up top! I jest of course, I hope every single person both on and off field whether paid or volunteer who have contributed to this season is having a great time tonight and gets some well deserved time off.
