It's just a graphics trick put in by Crunchy Carrots. (they did the video). No idea why. I suspect that for us at least, the days of away kits being a mirror image of the home ones in different colours are over. There are so many bespoke options available with O' Neills that there's no need to use the same template twice. Doing something different makes the away strip fresher and probably more appealing to buyers. Though ultimately that decision would like with the BOD / CEO at the time. They took a different approach with all three kits last year so.....

Look at the guy's neck. It's just a filter or something

Humble pie for your contacts guessing at the time an unknown managers thoughts ? Any new manager will review a playing squad in his own time unless they have worked previously with certain players. 4 hours ago, HopeStreetWalker said: With Tait being in his last season he is either in the first team squad or cash him in for whatever they can get. Going out on loan does not make commercial sense to Hibs. Who is going to pay money for him ? A fair amount of the loans from top league are in their last year of contract. We had Alegria and Kennedy on loan previously last year of contract also McManus, if they are out the picture that doesn't matter a jot but obviously Gray will make his mind up in due time. Last season we had Bisland and Ross and loaned out Lawal and McKay too. The new top I like....not Viagra hard but below.....didn't like last year's home top and bought white one My mate managed to get me a signed white top which made me joyous/Viagra hard

Shodwall cat
21 hours ago, Super Simon said: I've seen nothing whatsoever from Hogarth to date that would merit any sort of assurance or guarantee about game time, all the more so considering that we will be playing at a higher level next season. Overall, he simply has not been convincing enough for me. The reports from Thistle fans aren't exactly encouraging either, so it may again be a scenario of two goalkeepers who are much or a muchness and who could both reasonably expect to get a decent number of games. Neither strike me as undisputed No 1 material. All pretty meh really. I never mentioned guaranteed game time I said that I would expect him to be the number one and stay number one until his performances are not of a decent enough standard to stay number one any longer just like every other team does. I can't see him signing on again though without him having been given some sort of assurance that's the case. It's his jersey to lose for me and his form was excellent the longer he played in goals. That chopping and changing didn't really do either of the keepers any favours but we managed to get away with it.

FK1Bairn
Just checking folks views on the new home kit. I'm not too sure about the top, will wait to see it in the shop first but if I'm being critical, I would have preferred the stripe in the middle of the top that would have made it look like a PSG top and there's presumably copyright issues with that. The stripe in the middle would also have led to comments of the top being last year's away top in reverse. I do think on first viewings that last seasons top was better but I'm happy to wait until I've seen it in the flesh first. This post is also written on 4 hours sleep last night and being awake since 3am!
One off poster
My feeling on the strip is one of relief as I loved last year's so much I was worried I'd be disappointed, but it's another solid output. I did kind of hope for the steeple on the shoulders again but I like that it's still incorporated into it. Long may that continue in my eyes.

Nothing too lose everything to gain from Hibs point of view. He's not moving out of Scotland', transfer market will be paid off/freed or nominal fee. If the above doesn't happen and he is still out of Hibs plans then I don't think that comes under nothing to lose. See Brad McKay and many Holt signings with us for examples
