BudBairn
The thing is we were almost 4-0 up before half time. If you watch the highlights, it’s pretty much all hibs with falkirk breaking away 4 times. Every falkirk goal is pretty much someone kicking it into an empty net. There’s absolutely no way hibs should have been 3-0 down at half time in that game, even though they could have been 4-0 down if that makes sense. How did Taylor miss that tap in!

Silvio Tattiescone
It's weird really - there are some things in football that you can practice repeatedly and be coached on. Taking a corner, bye-kicks and one-on-ones and yet time and time again we see corners not getting over the first defender, keepers kicking the ball straight out the park and strikers missing one-on-ones more often than not.
Nkomo-A-Gogo
Keepers kicking the ball out the park was definitely worse years ago.I remember my dad screaming at me about westwater not kicking it from his hand. As if it was my fault! -

Being utterly useless with the wrong foot annoys me. We all have a strong side, but when a defender contorts himself to clear it with his better foot and ends up falling on his hole that does my nut in. All pros should be able to control, pass a few yards, and hoof if needed with the wrong foot. We've had some recently that couldn't do it with their strong foot!
Guest Back Post Misses
Believe it or not, Loy has been top of our "assists" table for the best part of four months. And still is, though Sibbald drew level with him at the start of January. Both have set up four goals. Loys' four came against: Stirling Albion at TFS, when he put in a low cross for Fash to slide in and score, Inverness at Sneckie in July, when he picked up a terrible clearance from the keeper and played in Fash to score, St Mirren on the opening day of the League, when he hit a cross that the keeper palmed up into the air for Fash to head in, and Sligo, when he advanced on the right side of the box and then slid a square pass to the unmarked Fash who scored. Sibbs and Loy have four assists, Craigen Harris & Dunne have three and then there's a pile of players on two. Stats huh, my eyes tells me he could not give a f**k and we should cut our losses before Thursday

GMBairn
Solid result today after a slow start, we now have a good chance to move up the league in February given our fixtures. Realistically we should be aiming to take at least 8 points before we play St Mirren at the end of the month. Given that dumbarton are still shite we will hopefully get the full 12 if we can get past another tough game against livi.

bridge of allan bairn
quietly going about our business now and the form table shows us 3rd over 8 games and 2nd over 6 games behind st mirren. can't believe we are still 17 points behind a poor dundee United just shows how truly awful a first half of a season we had. good form now but might come to late for the play offs with games running out and relying on us winning too many games and too many other teams dropping too many points

We are no where near the finishing in the play offs for me, we needed the team to crack on when Hartley was appointed to do so but its onwards and upwards for now, just not that as high as the opposite play offs we were destined for a few weeks ago Never say never and in football terms, wont be impossible till pts v games say it is A bigger more realistic question is does Thomson deserve dropped after todays performance ? He was helped with ICT placing all their shots straight at him but his handling and overall game was better than previous games, I suppose part of it may depends on the pressure that is placed on the loan as we have found in the past that some managers will put pressure on that if a player is loaned to them they expect them to play

They cant unless its gone at least 28 days and even then he wouldnt be allowed to play first team unless genuine emergency (which means no other fit registered keeper over 16 yrs old at the club).

End of an era, now every player for us vurrent or presumably future knows Falkirk only at our current home. There is Alex Totton who played in the great Willie Cunningham team of the late 60s and early 70s. The gold standard era that all others should be measured.
