Be Prepared is probably my favourite Disney song, just ahead of One Jump Ahead from Alladin.

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that. The double whammy of Heaven's Light/Hellfire in 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' packs a real emotional punch which is rare to find in animated movies. From Quasimodo's innocent portrayal of the love he feels for Esmerelda, to Frollo's immoral lust for the same woman, we encounter two varying viewpoints which really allow the viewer to root for our main protagonist.

Let's not forget that Mufasa was basically a racist. Scar was just trying to give equal opportunities to all animals.

He was effectively a socialist freedom fighter, trying to bring down the tyrannical regime Mufasa had over the Savannah.

This shouldn't be forgotten.

I've not seen the Hunchback film for years - I'll probably have to watch again for the full emotional effect the songs would have.

The Jungle Book had some amazing songs too - I used to love the marching military elephants song.

What I didn't like about Mufasa was that he had it in for Scar right from the start. At the end of the day they were family and as a responsible king Mufasa had no right to turn his back on his own brother, maybe he had it coming all along.

All the while Mufasa's widow, Sarabi, was innocent and had no control over the horror Scar put her through. She was the real victim of the story.

Shat it

The moment xbl shat it will always be one of those moments you always remember where you were when it happened like 9/11 or when JFK was shot.

For me personally, I was on P&B watching xbl shatting it.

^^^ shat it

Textbook example of someone who has quite clearly shat it IMO.

http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/79768-shitting-stories/ for this pish.

Ah survivor 6, when xbl first shat it. The memories

A million?

This thread has really opened my eyes to Pie and Bovril. The internet at it's finest. Me I'm no good at it.

With two Greenock "Box Office" Posters away (I'm sure there will be claims of it being an elegant hoax) Could this be described as A Great Feeling at Cappielow?

Incidently, is Big Gus P&B's version of Hulk Hogan? He was a lovably character who was a familiar face coming along bringing out the legdrop pie reviews every week. One sour incident and he's public enemy number one (well, he's a wee bit down the line before one). What happened Gus?

I never liked the sexism in the mumsnet thread. Called a few people out on it.

There are still people with panties in knots about it.

Why is it not boxers in knots?. Men arent known for wearing panties and youre suggesting that men on here are behaving like women who get annoyed over nothing.

Please take your sexism out of this thread. Its absolutely sickening.

Take your stereotyping of underwear that is only suitable for set genders out of the thread please. As small minded to cross dressers as racism.

Sorry I took the side of PoP in that thread ages ago against your chisel chinned 'burd' and pointed out you'd white knighted all her posts.

I'll class you as the expert on girls with deformed faces then.

Cool...
