None so remarkable as when Grace Kelly, then Princess Grace of Monaco, arrived at Tannadice with her hubby, Prince Rainer on UEFA Cup business. She would die in car crash less than a year later... The Michael Marra song Hamish the Goalie was supposedly inspired by that night. A song covered, bizarrely, by Leo Sayer...

She'd have done it sooner if she'd known.

I only guessed East Fife as they traditionally wore white shorts and black socks.
Le Tout P'ti FC
Passed the statue of Bobby Lennox in Saltcoats today. Famous for having three caps for the Scottish League XI, and playing for Houston Hurricane.

Flybhoy
An emotional Frank McGarvey was on the pitch before yesterday's game thanking the Celtic fans for their support and messages after recently being diagnosed with cancer, fingers crossed he beats it as I'm sure everyone on here will concur. Here he is scoring against Dundee United at Celtic Park in 1980, the United players, left to right are David Narey, Hamish Mcalpine, Iain Philip and, I think Frank Kopel. Unsure who the Celtic player on the deck is, when zooming in and enlarging it, methinks it could be Alan Sneddon, or possibly Tom Mcadam.

I love stuff like this - great nostalgia and I like reading the old match reports. From @Flybhoy photo, I’d say it was Charlie Nicholas. Davie Provan didn’t feature in the match.
