Dunfermline Athletic vs Ayr United

Recommended Posts

Geggan could and probably have seen a second yellow on a couple of occasions. Not sure how the Ayr centre half didn't get booked for bringing Kiltie down at the edge of the box either. No doubt the next soft foul by us will see a card produced.

Quite why we are allowing Ayr to pass it about with no press or even cutting off a passing lane is bizarre. Thomson is a shadow of the player he was a year or so ago and our centre halves are dung. Make no bones about it, Ayr are there for the taking and we aren't doing a thing about it.

Another disaster of a result and we’ve lost four in a row - that’s the *third* time we’ve done that under Crawford.

He just needs time though. And something about young players. Lucky to have a club etc.

Punt him tonight, even if it’s at least six months late.

Edit - I am seething. It was obvious he was wrong for the job after his second game in charge but we’ve wasted a whole year because he was cheap and used to play for us.

Funny thing is, I don’t think the squad is terrible. We just have 2/3 youth coaches trying to manage a senior team and it’s not working to a painful degree. Put him and everyone else out of their misery, before we end up back in League 1.

What the hell is Mark Kerr playing at, don't what folk have got against Houston but he's a far better right back than Geggan. Also Moore ahead of Moffat continues to baffle, although both have been terrible lately so would have been inclined to start Doolan.
Mark Kerr is a fucking tactical genius!

Bizarre line-up and bizarre substitutions. If he’s getting sacked it has to be now. 3 points off 2nd bottom Morton as it stands, who have a game in hand.
Mental how you were only a couple of points off second or third what seems just about a month ago, this league is mental.

Excellent result although not so sure about the performance (wasn't there so can't really comment).

As said, it's been much needed and hopefully will give the boys (and us fans) a bit of confidence to try and kick on now.....

Don't see how that's Sculleys fault tbh. Don't think it was offside.

I do agree it should have been a red though, how you can throw someone by the neck and stay on the pitch is a mystery.

Will need to see on the highlights. I know scully can’t commit until late with a ball across the front but it didn’t look a great touch and it traveled far enough he should have done better.

That was a poor 2nd half. Taking dow off was a mistake and our desperate punts were depressing to watch.

Ref totally lost control and really needs to explain himself to scully. He allowed a dangerous situation to needlessly happen and got lucky that scully wasn’t seriously hurt.
