Dubiety over the corner for the Pars’ equaliser too, didn’t look like it crossed the line but haven’t seen it back.

Fair point that, it seems to have got missed in amongst all the other decisions. Linesman was definitely guessing on that one as he wasn't up with play.

You're also right about the mentality, you could have blown for full time as soon as the second goal was disallowed, the only surprise was that Graham or Muirhead didn't end up with a red card, though Robinson could have.

One absolutely terrible and one extremely questionable refereeing decision against us but we need to take responsibility too. Once again Muirhead and terrible goalkeeping letting us down.

Tonight showed how much we need options for Lawless and Fitzpatrick. One gets taken off and we’re shoehorning McInroy and Diack outwide where they offer nothing.

Only terrible decision was why that pigeon shit haircut fandan stayed on the pitch after a studs up mid leg tackle. That is all. enjoy your evening luvvie

Jakubiak had the Partick defence heel dancing last half hour. Thought he was superb when he came on. Also got to say Partick got away with that high tackle that only got a booking. Partick should've been down to ten men. Shit ref didn't only go one way.

Bet you feel like a bellend that is Benjamin you Fanny

Not particularly, no. He had a poor first half and wasn't particularly brilliant in the second but I'm pleased for him that he got hid goal. He seemed delighted, I assume that's his first senior goal?

Really surprised at how poor Thistle were second half. We started the second 45 a lot better and on the front foot and hit the post before we did score. Great timing of the run, superb first touch, very classy finish. Pure Matty Todd. Once the "equaliser" was disallowed, Partick didn't react at all well and we controlled it really well once we got the third. Good ball in by Paul Allan who again looked reasonable enough alongside Otoo rather than having to cover for Chalmers. Much more aggressive press in the second half with Kane (and Jakubiak when he came on) putting a shift in. Got to try and build on that now.

Also, is there any better sound than fans shouting "cheat, cheat" when the decision is actually correct? Wonderful stuff.

The Todd finish was lovely. Our defending is atrocious though. We've conceded 9 goals in 3 games and that hasn't been through bad luck, but dreadful defending.

Forget the officials. If we can actually keep teams at arms length we stand a fighting chance, but we looked vulnerable tonight.

We can moan all we like about poor match official decisions, and yes there were some howlers, however, our now inherent weak defending and not being clinical enough tonight in front of goal was our ultimate undoing .Fair play to Dunfermline for taking advantage .If we somehow stumble into playoffs again I'll be gobsmacked .

About time Karma came back our way. History books will say 1-3 therefore it was.

Totally understand Partick fans being pissed off but there was still 40 minutes played of that game where Pars were the better team afterwards. Partick got away with a red card in that time but we didn't fold at a bad decision. We won by 2 clear goals , so we can get the poor Partick stuff in the bin.

Pars deserved that win tonight.

Matty Todd is absolutely fantastic. Brilliant to have him back. Delighted for him to get his goal.

Also, Benjamin went absolutely crazy when he scored. He may not be a great footballer, but you could see he cares and that’s certainly much more passion than we got from the players Hughes brought in 2 years ago.

MFW really coming onto a game as well.

I listened to his post-match interview. The lad has been through the mill this season injury wise.

Also...his run and finish for his goal was top-drawer.

Typical crazy championship game,  Thistle should have had the game won in the first half,  The officials to me looked like they needed help from the booth that wasn't there,

But for all the blunders, Dunfermline scored 3.good goals and a great attempt off the post,

It is going to be a nervy run in for a number of teams.

Yeah, I’ve really felt for him this season. He’s been a really fit guy since coming into the first team squad. Then has had a nightmare 11 months now. He got an appendix removed towards the end of last season too and missed every game after the title had been officially won.

Really good team performance.

Mehmet didn't really have much to do although that drop in first half was horrific. Defence was reasonably solid, although his goal apart, Benjamin continues to be a concern. Hopefully settles in like MFW who's looking more stable with each game.

In midfield, Otoo was outstanding. Alongside Matty Todd, provides huge amount of energy and attacking threat that out midfield has been missing. Credit to Allan who proved me wrong and had a decent game. Little to shout about from Holmes and McCann although both will offer more if we can continue to compete in games.

Good shift again from Kane who continues to be a menace but stupid yellow to pick up.

Thought Jakubiak was excellent when he came on and provided fresh legs and a threat from the bench, something we've sorely missed.

The shocking offside decision will catch the headlines but ref should have also shown a red card. Overall, more than earned our win and hope it really gives the whole squad a lift. Big couple of weeks ahead.

Can't add much to whats already been said but that was fantastic, especially 2nd half.

Watching us being an actual threat was a joy to watch instead of the timid pish we've been accustomed to.

Please no more injuries this season, ffs.

After that I am a lot more confident of finishing above 9th. Out with those daft decisions, we still looked competent and done enough to be worth winners. Otoo, Todd, Hamilton, Edwards and Kane are players that are good enough to be in the top 2 in the league IMO. There's definitely a spine there that should be able to influence the rest of the team to bring us on.

MFW well worth of the MOTM btw. He is looking like a brilliant acquisition.
