Well that was as inevitable as night following day !

Bair back to being a donkey !

WTF was Kettlewell doing taking off Miller and Vale and putting two kids on! We don’t have many options but just Awful subs.

Big, big win. Especially with the carry on in Dingwall.

Still, todays results will maybe keep those lunatic St Mirren fans off our threads for 24 hours or so. Maybe we should go on their match day thread. How does it go - HO HO HO HA HA HA?

I’ll see you over on the St Mirren thread.

Don't know whether to be more annoyed at VAR or the inevitability of our performance.

Results couldn't have gone better for us the other week and the opposite is true today.

Not sure if the team maybe bought into the top 6 chat but today shows we should still be very much looking down rather than up. Defence back to its best yet again, allowing the opposition a goal with their first real effort.

Second half was a nervous watch, especially when Motherwell had set pieces or the opportunity to get a high ball into the box, but delighted and relieved to get three points on the board. A clear lack of height and presence in the team that Motherwell understandably sought to exploit, but Gartenmann and MacDonald stood up fairly well in most cases. I haven’t seen either of the VAR incidents back, but had no inkling that there was a handball at the goal until it was announced that it was being checked. Shinnie’s at the end looked like a typical nothing incident that might go against us, but difficult to tell from behind the opposite goal.

I wouldn’t say it was a great performance, but hopefully grinding out a 1-0 away at a difficult venue (although every ground is difficult for us this season) can act as some sort of platform.

Gartenmann’s best game in a long time. Barron and Shinnie both excellent. Nice to see Clarkson getting a goal.

Difference between the handball given against Bair and that with Shinnie there?

The difference is that the handball against Bair was given as a foul, and the handball against Shinnie wasn’t. (Haven’t seen either, so no idea)
