Also its pretty impossible to judge Lee McCulloch's credentials. This. I dont mind making that kind of appointment in the summer, but we cant afford the new guy to have any time to "bed in" to the job. The first 3 games he faces are potentially season defining.
Rovers1992/1993
This. I dont mind making that kind of appointment in the summer, but we cant afford the new guy to have any time to "bed in" to the job. The first 3 games he faces are potentially season defining. I doubt Hibs and Queens away will be season defining to be honest. The 3 that follow that will be.
Wardy
Hughes now 2/5 on McBookie..Young second favourite at 5/2...A lot money going on Hughes clearly. Quite a big list. Brian Reid.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Ian Murray currently has a coosty wee gig as an assistant at Asker in Norway. No idea if he could be tempted back here, not heard much from him in the press since he went over there.
Michael W
I had a dream (or was it a nightmare?) that we binned Locke and hired Brian Reid. I woke up absoluely fuming. This was before we sacked Locke, and I can confirm I will be absolutely fuming if such an outcome materialised.
Hank Scorpio
No one Rangers minded for me. Anyone else I can deal with. Just no one from them.

CALDERON
Don't think Hughes on a short term deal is the most ridiculous idea. Gets him in the shop window.
101
if Raith bring in Lee McCulloch you'll go from someone bleating on about Hearts to someone bleating on about the gers neither is very professional, but if you want to go the whole nine yards get that guy at Clyde who is always on the BBC talking up rangers or sevco
McGuigan1978
Farid did nothing against the Rovers, McMullan was an unused sub back in August. So, signing half a new team was John Herron? Apologies, I thought McMullan had been signed after the first game, which would have made 4 signings plus the couple returning from injury. And no, I wasn't meaning you'd spent a fortune, I was getting at the fact there'd been a reasonable change in personnel from the first game. Which there had been.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
It would be insane to appoint Lee McCulloch. Absolutely insane. We give the elbow, we don't take it.

dolce gusto
What about Stevie Aitken at Dumbarton? He's managed arguably the best two performing part time teams in the last few years and on only two nights training and a fraction of the budget. I'm not a fan of either club but just a keen fan with an unbiased opinion.

Their budget will be less than ours but not by much I'd imagine.
MICMAC
Ian Murray saved Dumbarton. He could do the same for Raith. How come i've a feeling it will be some cunt like Alex Rae [emoji38] Wouldn't surprise me if they went for Micky Cameron or Davie kirkwood

Gregor147
Hopefully it's a Kris Boyd and Ian Cathro's laptop dream team.
Hank Scorpio
I've got a horrible feeling about this appointment. The board will be absolutely shitting themselves about getting the right man in, so much so that I fear they're going to just go for the most experienced candidate at the expense of everything else. If they appoint a dinosaur and we go down it could be a long time til we recover given our current crowds. Imagine how awful they'd be when we've got Peterhead at home on a Tuesday instead of Morton.
