Wee Sandy
Looks like Brian Graham is away to Ross County Thought St Johnstone were saying (today) that they will sign him following hs release from DUFC ?
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Sorry to take you slightly off topic but I'm hearing that Mitch Megginson had agreed a deal with you guys before Murray got the bump. Whether or not that deal is still going ahead I don't know but I think Mitch may feel a bit silly if it doesn't because he's been told there's no deal here for him (probably a result of him agreeing a deal with you guys). Heard something similar. Went from hero to zero with us. After an excellent season 2 years ago he was hopeless last year. Clearly a player in there but not the type of passenger we can afford to carry after last season's form. I'd imagine now that Murray is gone the deal could be dead in the water.
1RonnieCoyle
Anyone else thinking that the club taking the next couple of weeks to pick our gaffer could seriously hamper new signings? Or will malpas and chairman be signing some of current squad and maybe pre contracts?
Geordie_Munrover
Anyone else thinking that the club taking the next couple of weeks to pick our gaffer could seriously hamper new signings? Or will malpas and chairman be signing some of current squad and maybe pre contracts? There was an article in the courier a few weeks ago while Murray was still in charge.... Said he was going to play the long game with regards to new signings so I imagine it won't make any difference.

Rather have a shit team and a great manager, than a shit manager and a great team.

Or will malpas and chairman be signing some of current squad and maybe pre contracts? Most players are contracted until mid-May at the earliest, so anyone announcing signings now are almost certainly doing so on a pre-contract basis, and if Calum Elliot has taught us anything, it's that pre-contract agreements aren't worth shit.

Ro Sham Bo
Brewster in the Courier today confirming he has applied. Also just noticed that Allan Johnston is due to be appointed Pars boss today so we can rule him out of the running. Ding Dang Doo
Brewster in the Courier today confirming he has applied. Also just noticed that Allan Johnston is due to be appointed Pars boss today so we can rule him out of the running. Wouldn't go anywhere near Brewster. He was more interested in a night out in Dundee when he managed Dundee Utd than actually coaching the team. Also Johnston now confirmed as manager so there's 1 down.
Enigma
Wouldn't go anywhere near Brewster. He was more interested in a night out in Dundee when he managed Dundee Utd than actually coaching the team. Also Johnston now confirmed as manager so there's 1 down. Brewster had a pretty bad managerial record. Sure one of the reasons his first spell at ICT was so good was he was banging in the goals as a player too. Wouldn't want him.
kefc
Lads if your at a loose end tomorrow Kelty Hearts can win the East Super at home to Camelon if they win and other results go their way. £5 to get in and the cheapest pint around in the social club. Your support would be appreciated as we look to clinch the title.

Broken Algorithms
No thanks Craig. That'd be a brutal appointment I reckon. Exactly the type we want to get away from.
mrpaddyx
If he could turn the clock back 20 years and come back as a player that would be great otherwise thanks but no thanks.
Ebanda's Handyman Services
Excellent player, his touch and the space and time it bought him was sublime, but he wouldn't be my first choice to become our new gaffer.
baillieinleeds
I'm still hoping for Derek Adams, really hope we steer clear of any Rovers affiliation and start afresh.

Ebanda's Handyman Services
Nothing against Burchill at all but that would be a seriously underwhelming appointment in my opinion. I'd back him like f**k if it happened but I was hoping for a more exciting appointment that would hype up interest among the more disillusioned supporters.
Rover1990
Good to see the club pressing forward with their commitment to the academy players.....also great news on Mathews getting a 2 year deal....given some time next year he could be a good player for us. http://www.raithrovers.net/19416/youngsters-take-step-up.htm
