Really need to have a cull on Facebook (and maybe for real). Have a few folk who seem to think that it is the council's job to come and dig out every house. One fucker in particular is perfectly able bodied, has 2 daughters and a son in law living with them, but only now have they decided that they might need to get off their collective arses and shift some snow.

There’s an M&S at Edinburgh airport that sells good pizzas.

I posted this on one of the local Facebook selling pages the other day:

Great I'll have a meat feast with extra pepperoni.

PM me your bank details and I’ll get it sorted.  For security purposes I’ll need your PIN and mother’s maiden name.

You can chuck in her address and phone number too.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-europe-43271505/lidl-supermarket-looted-after-digger-used-to-attack-building

Eight men have been charged after burglaries at two shops in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland.

A Lidl supermarket was looted and bulldozed with a digger on Friday evening, while a Centra shop in Jobstown was also broken into. A safe was removed and found partially open outside during the incident at the Lidl supermarket on Fortunestown Lane. It collapsed after it was bulldozed with a stolen digger.

The Centra store in Jobstown was broken into, after a saw was used to cut a hole in the front.

Irish broadcaster RTÉ reports that civil defence, army trucks and snowploughs had to be used to bring police reinforcements to the scenes. They said a small number of gardaí (Irish police) who tried to get to the scene at the Lidl shop were attacked and drew batons and pepper spray for personal protection. They did not use them and retreated.

Three men have been charged with burglary in connection with the incident at the Centra shop. Five men were charged with various offences in connection with the incidents at the Lidl supermarket on Fortunestown Lane. Three of the men have been remanded in custody and five have been released on bail to appear again in court later this month.

Pity the Eire police didn't batter the burglars & looters, versus retreating.

We must know some of the same people - utter failure to understand the fact that no council's going to maintain a huge standing fleet of gritters and snowploughs to counter something that's likely to happen once or twice a decade at most, and when it does happen a subsequent failure to grasp the reality that gritting arterial roads are probably going to take priority over dealing with the shitty backwater side street they live on.

"We should be getting a rebate on oor council tax..."

And who's going to pay that, dumbfuck?
