Rocco
Likelihood is the contract extensions will be Yeats and McCann, which I’m delighted about but if by some miracle it was Morrison I’d be suffering from mass hysteria
18BAIRN76
"I think we’ll be in a place within the next 24 to 48 hours to have some breaking news regarding more re-signings. I’d be telling fans to keep an eye out." What a tease! I doubt it, but if one of them is actually Morrison, I don't think I can verbalise how I'd feel without getting banned by mods.

Im genuinely struggling to pick: Morrison Miller Lang Spencer Henderson Yeats There’s not many who you can’t make the case for! I'm so impressed with how direct he is and his composure in front of goal is surprisingly good for a winger. He's arguably a bit more consistent than Callumn. As you say though, you could make an argument for any of the above. Just goes to show how brilliant of a season it's been so far! I'm genuinely excited to see who will end up winning it. I don't think there is an against the grain choice. There are definitely, I think, 7 or 8 for whom I wouldn't bat an eyelid if they won it. Miller is a top 3 or 4 choice probably. The ones I find it incredibly hard to separate are Miller, Morrison, Lang, Spencer and Hendo.

I personally think the guy that ends up winning it will be Miller, Morrison or Lang, and it's tighter than two coats of paint! Finn is a cert for young player of the year. Most improved Nesbitt. Signing of the season MacIver.

Bigbrbairn
There is a lot to say for McIver being POTY. His energy and ball distribution has led to a lot of our attacking play

I’d now go further and say he’s been our most important signing, I mean, he’s the style of player that Mr McGlynn needs to play in the striker/CF role. Quite literally there is no one else in League 1 that comes close. In the Champinship? Well, Todorov is not as good in any aspect you care to mention, Brian Graham…..perhaps but he’s mid 30s, Dowds nope, Moult & Oakley maybe. But none of this can detract from the excellent form of all of our starting outfield players, any of whom I’d be delighted to be named POTY. I think Morrison will probably get it due to output, but my vote would be Miller or Lang.
martin ritchie
I love watching Spencer play, so calm and measured on the ball, he controls the game. Very rarely gives the ball away, I know he doesn't get the headlines with goals or assists but he sets the tempo for our play and he's not scared to put a tackle in, maybe his only weakness is he ain't the fastest but what a football brain the guy has, my poty

A genuine baller. I've been really impressed with the amount of dig and fire he's shown. Not just a "piano player".

I asked Random Guy to get the pie chart up a few weeks ago on his interception stats because I was increasingly impressed with the work he does without the ball. The guy is a one man engine room.
Senor Bairn
I genuinely can't decide who to pick from between Morrison, Lang, Spencer and Miller. Lang has been an absolute colossus at the back. And improved the defence tenfold. He's bred so much confidence into Col Donaldson who also looks a completely different player this season. Spencer has came up with some decisive moments to win us games (Queens at home, Stirling away) and is genuinely a class above in this league. Morrison has usually been the best player in a shitty team over his 3 or 4 season spell with us. However i don't think it's fair to argue his case that he's been player of the season so far, same as Spencer, he's a big game player for me, when we need a goal in a big game, CM7 turns up, his thundercunt of a strike versus Montrose is up there with one of the best goals at the stadium and set the tone completely for the season. He's got 3 goals in 3 games against the Accies, and is a constant fucking menace on the right wing. Whether he stays or goes, I wish him the very best. Calvin Miller is for me the best player in the side. A complete wizard on the wing. That spell out injured he had at the beginning of the season really affected the teams performances (we never got beat, but we weren't beating teams as comfortably without him). 7 goals and 9 assists in the league show how pivotal he is to the side. The difference from now to last season is, teams could double up on the right side and really hold Morrison down. Whereas now, both flanks have equally direct and dangerous wingers, it's absolutely brilliant to watch. I'd give it to the club supermo personally.

In the SPFL League 1 team of the season, does anyone get in that doesn't play in the #Navy #Blue?
