Disco Duck Posted Wednesday at 20:14 Share Posted Wednesday at 20:14 I really don’t like that top. The trim is bizarre, the socks look like they’re from a different kit and, well, not even Lang can make it look good. Far prefer the home kit. Im not really the target market though!

A rip off of either Ajax, Arsenal, Monaco or Atletico Madrid would be perfect. Would prefer Atletico with navy blue shorts. We wore red and white stripes in season 1888/89 (or so 60s Bairns told me as he remembered it). I've always wondered why we never tried that for an away top. It's not far away now, so I also wonder if the 2026/27 away top might end up with red and blue stripes to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Tottens side getting to the cup final.

Looks brilliant- well done to you and all involved

Gaz Posted Wednesday at 21:42 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:42 Generally I prefer us to have white away kits, but that is a very nice red kit.

Reggie Perrin Posted Wednesday at 21:54 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:54 Much prefer white change kits but that is a decent effort. At least it is not yellow or sky blue which I really don’t like.
ChrispPancake Posted Wednesday at 22:09 Share Posted Wednesday at 22:09 I guess we'll see it away to Funfermline in the second game if the season.

Agree with your comments, just keep it simple. I'd also add gold on red not a great combo. It's only a strip at the end of the day and results will deem if it is remembered fondly or not. We have had some really classy strips over the years - this is not one IMO.

Hugh Hillshaveyes Posted Thursday at 00:53 Share Posted Thursday at 00:53 (edited) Not for me...I loved the steeple sleeves in last year's kit..we should've insisted on them again..it's what made it bespoke & a cracker.. quite disappointed with this year's offerings Edited Thursday at 01:16 by Hugh Hillshaveyes Spelling
ebobsboy Posted Thursday at 00:53 Share Posted Thursday at 00:53 (edited) Prefer the home kit over this. Nice enough but not for me. Tough ask for O'Neill's to better last season's strips they were both cracking I don't think they've quite managed it this time. Ned Nederlander Posted Thursday at 03:53 Share Posted Thursday at 03:53 No mention of the Bairns but the BBC has a piece on former Falkirk Scotland cap John White: Tottenham's John White and his son's search for lost superstar - BBC Sport

Also loving the look of the new training kit As much as I like the away kit over the home, the more I look at it the more I think the tops look a bit snug. I'm not going to start on the above the knee way MacIver and Lang are wearing the socks, very staunch looking!
FalkirkBairn2021 Posted Thursday at 06:47 Share Posted Thursday at 06:47 I thought the away kit looked a bit Aberdeeny
Hartleys18/19Army Posted Thursday at 07:29 Share Posted Thursday at 07:29 The neck and arm trims aren't too great. I'd have left the gold out. Feels like we're hanging on to last seasons success with the gold. -
ShaggerG Posted Thursday at 08:14 Share Posted Thursday at 08:14 (edited) There's f**k all wrong with the kit for f**king f**k's sake! It'll have f**king Falkirk players in it, which is all that really f**king counts!! Edited to include asterisks in the 'fucking' words for dramatic effect. HopeStreetWalker Posted Thursday at 08:31 Share Posted Thursday at 08:31 Design is good but 'Red' has never been a colour associated with Falkirk. In White it would have been spot on. The selection was made on what the marketing think will sell well to the fans. If it brings more funds into the club, live with it. -
Senor Bairn Posted Thursday at 08:37 Share Posted Thursday at 08:37 I really like it. Away kits over the years have been Red, Yellow or White. This red one with the gold writing is smart.
